They better use 8 oz. gloves for Pac-Mayweather

Now way, Mayweather will use 8oz. gloves. The only way he will duck the fight if the dont let him use 10oz grant gloves. Those glove are the key for him to win.

For the people that dont know anything about boxing, Wearing a 8oz gloves doesnt = a Knock out victory, Gloves are suppose to support and protect your hands, Now we have different type of gloves some are punchers gloves while some arent. Your are Correct Sir. Reyes gloves which are used by the Manny Pac's Miguel Cotto's of the world are Punchers Gloves. Grant are made for more defensive boxers, A bit more longer, A Bit more Padded. These are used by the Mayweather's, the Winky Wright's and Hopkin's type of fighters. More pure boxers prefer these gloves.

I think Roach will want Floyd to wear "Reyes" gloves like he made him wear in the Oscar fight instead of Floyd's like of either "Winning" or "Grant"...although this time unless Vegas demands it (if it is held there), it will be 8oz, not 10oz. Floyd was the first boxer I remember coming out against Vegas upping their glove size to 10oz for WW fights. He said it ruined the tradition of the sport. I'm against the use of 10oz gloves for any division. HWs should go back to using 8oz. Now is he still for this? Not sure. In Vegas though...I'm not sure how much of a choice you have. I never understood it anyway: They allow MMA to use small gloves...why not boxing? Anybody know if Vegas still demands the 10oz glove rule?
