because those fights were a lifetime a way in terms of where both boxers are now and mean nothing
Roger Federer used to lose to Lleyton Hewitt regularly now spanks him on a regular basis, it's called improvement
Pac has improved exponentially since the last JMM fight, especially defensively
Floyd has improved exponentially since the Castillo fight
That is what makes a Pac v Floyd showdown so intriguing. Both guys can legit beat the other on the night
i know we are going to have hundreds of prediction threads of what is going to happen leading upto the fight. Half will have Pac KOing Floyd, half will have Floyd outboxing Pac
fact is , no where here knows the fuk what is gonna happen in the ring when they meet (and it is a when, not if)

Good Post, but let the flomos keep thinking that Pac hasn't improved and that watching the JMM tapes will beat him. They forget that Manny was weight drained for those fights anyway.
Only difference is that Pac has improved while Mayweather has slipped a little bit. Not as fast, doesn't throw combinations, etc.. It's still a 50/50 fight.
I dont think Pac has faced a style like JMM since facing JMM.
He had 4 years between the first fight and rematch, and he hadnt really improved that much.
IMO Castillo is a very different fighter to Pac, so i dont think those fights are relevant.
