Manny Pacquiao is selling PPV's the way it should be, the way it benefits the sport

I wouldn't necessarily say he's "selling" the sport, but more like he's doing his duty as an ambassador of the sport by performing to the best of his abilities. Now if he were to really sell the sport, he would be on more media outlets promoting his fights conducting various interviews throughout the country and generating more viewers. I'd say if he had a more charismatic personality and was more media friendly he would likely surpass Floyd in drawing power because his fights have been more exciting to date. I think when promotion starts for his fight with Floyd he'll step it up a notch to help sell the fight. But that's just my guess.

Thats odd.... Because if I recall correctly he didnt say one BAD word in the hype and build up to Marquez...Floyd was all class and smiles. And over a million people still paid $60 dollars to see him fight a fighter whos never headlined a PPV. Nice try though. You're not really that naive. You can't be.

Contrary to what you want to believe there are ALOT of people who still appreciate the sweet science. Mayweather headlines bouts because hes the best at what he does. yeah, they're called hardcore fans. Casual fans buy his fights because he talks a big game outside of the ring. They dont buy his fights because of his fight style.

its good for the sport when mayweather and pac fights are promoted on every media outlet known to man..thast big for the sport. If you dont like floyds style...dont watch the ppv. Hes been fighting for 13 years...you know what floyd brings to the table. He just did over a million buys 3 fights str8. Someone is watching his fights. Boxing is hit and not get hit..no one does it bette then floyd. Floyd likes to box....manny likes to fight. Theyre both fukking winners. Period. seriously, there are too many people complaining about boxer/punchers doing a lil too much boxing in the ring. I agree that some fights shouldnt be advertised as dramatic barn burners and that does hurt the sport. But if you can actually sit there and tell me you would stand in one spot and trade punches with a seriously dangerous opponent for 12 rounds, then go nuts talkin shit about what makes our sport different. but......... the error in this is that from a business and entertaining standpoint, fights with pure boxers should never be billed as the headlining bouts. I agree with that. But to criticize a fighter for trying to ensure a w is ridiculous.

you guys need to realize that PPV is not like a regular fight. At this point, both sides will try to sell an ACTION PACKED EPIC. And sometimes, its just a con. Fighters step in the ring and do the opposite. That shit hurts the sport. It turns away people from the sport.
