"Of Course they'll say he uses steroids, they'll say it just because he is doing good. Leave the lil f*cker alone"
LOL
Gotta love Zab. He keeps it real.

I'm looking at this with a objective scientific point of view, and in conclusion, while steriods does increase body performance; stamina, explosivness, mass, perhaps speed. however, one's punch resistance is not part of the body's performance.
Punch resistance is much more complex than the simple enhancement of the skeletal musclar system by the usage of steriods, it includes plethora of mechanisms that are akin towards one's genetic make up. Whereas much of the rest of a boxer's internal organs are protected by bone, fat, skin and well developed muscle, the soft tissue of the brain is protected only by the skin-covered skull and the three membranes (MEANING THIS CAN NOT BE ENHANCED BY ANY PEDs)
-How hydrated a fighter is due to ECF cusioning the brain
-chin/mandible shape, more dessipation of the impact force,
-where a punch lands, if on the nerve rich region of the face this will send the CNS into shock, or around the ear can destabilize you as it messes with your equilibrium by violating your ear canal and tempanic membrane
-thicker/stubbier/shortent neck. this increases the weight of the base of your head.
-bone density. more dense = better
-dura mater - the thick, tough layer that restricts movement of the brain within the skull, thereby reducing the chance of blood vessels stretching or breaking; the dura matter appears to be the differentiating factor in ones ability to absorb punsishment. Presumably more and thicker dura matter is more beneficial
and lets not forget, pac was letting cotto tee off, this means he saw the punches coming, like the old time saying, "its the punches you dont see coming that really hurts you".
He's obviously baiting you, dude. Stop taking it.
Besides, we all know Paul Williams was able to walk right through plaster loaded shots from Margacheato. I wonder why? I'm not saying anything controversial, by any means, IT'S JUST MY OPINION!!!!111!!!!!1!one!!!! Just an educated guess, is all I'm saying, but not really saying, but yeah I am but oh no I'm not, yup. No way is P-Dubb on the juice, NO WAY, I'm just sayin it feels reeeeeal funny, THAT'S ALL I'M SAYING.
Why do people even bother replying to this guy

Damn what a moronic theory you have fightingfigs!!
If nerve cells is being protected by muscles, then what's the use of it being a nerve cell?
Nerve cells function as sensors in our whole body, it relays to the brain what's happening in any part of our body if for example you touch a hot plate, those cells immediately tells the brain that you are in danger of getting thus the brain sends another command thru your nerve cells again to withdraw your hand in order for it not get damaged. So if your assertions nerve cells is protected by muscles, how will that sensor work?
I'll give you a very simple analogy.
Try covering the infrared light of your tv remote control with duct tape and then try to use it on your tv, let's see if it works.
That's really simple logic but you guys simply don't understand i'm wondering how you survived in this planet.
k the strongest part of your head is the crown of your skull cause its developed first. And nerves under your skin?? You are a moron, I was referring to the central nervous system that is a series of nerves connected including your brain and spinal cord. Nerves under your skin have no relevance to anything. And yes your muscles protect your nerves all around your neck and traps and back
there are millions of nerve cells underneath your skin such as the nerves cells lacated under the skin that is covering your face, ABOVE the muscles , the nerve cells rely information to the brain, such as when the face gets hit. now if enough force makes contact with your face, the nerve cells under the skin of the face will send this information to the brain, in turn the brain will overload and shut down, this causes a knock out. the nerves underneath the skin of your face has absolutly everything to do with how well one can take a punch, i can tell u did not pass highschool science.
and nerve cells are not encapsulated by muscles, if this is so then they loose their very purposes to begin with, and im keen on how u come to the conclusion that muscles protect nerve cells...LOL
wrong again, your nerves are located right under the dermis layer aka the skin, underneath a sheet of fat, there is no muscle on top of it.
the most vulnerable area on the head is from your cheeck bone down to your jaw/chin which is where it is most nerves are located, your temple area as u referred to is actually the strongest part of ur head, which is why people can take shots and head butts without getting koed.
and just like u said cotto's punch resistance increased by moving up in weight, so did pac's.
and please refrain from childish insults

What protects your nerves? The outer layer of muscle holding them all in place. Nerve configuration in all human anatomy is similar with the exception of genetic pros like muscle density or endurance.
which steroids enhance. cmon man so your saying pacquiaos nerve configuration was slightly altered whern he was wobbled by marquez?? dumbass
Your brain?? The knockout mechanism is linked towards the chin neck and temple area. You can recieve a concussions multiple times and not get knocked out.
So your talking out of your ass

again, performance does not include how well your brain reacts to concussions, HGH does NOTHING to your nerves connected the brain and the face.

Man, do you know anything about a person having a "high tolerance to pain?"
Pacquiao was obviously hurt and he admitted that except that he sucked it up!
That's what those "sticks" did to his body, to increase his ability to withstand the pain...that's psychological.... not steroids.
Maybe for most Americans they would attribute that to steroids because that's the only way many american athletes today know how to excel in sports and be competitive...
many american athletes nowadays don't know what it means to be numb to pain/sufferings because of extreme poverty and that "stick" that Pacquiao used to smack his body with is used to remind him of the pain he went through as a child. It helped Pacquiao to withstand the pain of Cotto's punches. That's the only reason and nothing else.
Steroids?? Naaah! Only first world countries use them for athletic competition.

Dude just stop posting idiot.
HGH increases strength speed stamina and overall performance. esecially mental focus and drive. Most cases of documented HGH usage also have been shown to cure physical ailments temporarily
wrong, performance does not include how well your brain reacts to concussions, HGH does NOTHING to your nerves connected the brain and the face.
did cotto take steroids to gain that extra weight?
all your abilities? now i know u lack education, let me repeat, only hormone known to enhance one's reflexes through nerve activation is adrenalin.

yes, overall body muscle and muscle condition. Your body doesnt wear down as fast.
Your a f u c k i n moron if you dont think that it cant enhance all of your abilities. Your neck muscles and everything connected to your spine and back all are far more protected or shelled around superior muscle that is at a whole new level
wrong again mr. 4th grade, nerve configuration surrounding one's face is a huge indicator between a glass jaw and a iron chin,
hell it worked for Cotto. That extra weight helped him take shots a lot better. AND of course it does.
Pacquiao gets wobbled by 126lb Marquez but at Welterweight he eats shots like candy
did cotto take steroids to gain that extra weight?
all your abilities? now i know u lack education, let me repeat, only hormone known to enhance one's reflexes through nerve activation is adrenalin.
again 5 lbs of mucle is all it takes to gain a iron chin huh? sounds like ur the retard

hey how exactly does testostrone ehance one's punch resistance? do you even know what factors contribute to one's ability to take a punch?

HGH in particular improves every aspect of your performance. That is the perfect performance enhancing drug with lil side effects.
You must not play sports or do anything remotely athletic if you do not think that the overall shape you are in assists you in the ability to tke a punch. Steroids especially HGH will get you past normal results to a whole new level.
i dont thin u understand what performance mean, performance including speed, explosivness, reflexes, it does not include how your brain reacts when concussed.
Your retarded if you dont think so. Why is it so prevalent in contact sports? Steroids does help you take shots better wherever it may be on your body because your muscles are stronger and pad your body better.
again 5 lbs of mucle is all it takes to gain a iron chin huh? sounds like ur the retard,
further more, how well one is able to take a punch depends largely on ones neck, nerves surrounding the face, and the CNS's reaction to concussion. if a man gains 5 lbs of muscle over his entire body, only 1 to 0.5 lbs will that gain be directed in the neck region.
TO all u dumb mother****ers that claim steroid ie testosterone and hgh usage can increase one's punch resistence, where is the proof? show me the scientific studies and i will concede. hgh and testosterone in short only inhances one's recovery period in between training, and muscle hypertrophy. and as we can see, 4-5lbs of muscle increase does not equate to iron chin like pacs, you guys are bunch of uneducated dim wits
