He basically says that Mayweather beats Manny because JMM had success against him because he's a counter puncher and Floyd is the same but with more speed and size.
He said he's was very impressed with Manny and he's a freak of nature. He's incredibly strong and fast and didn't lose any of it by moving up.
For the record, I pick Mayweather against Manny but wouldn't be shocked if he did beat Mayweather.
He was also asked if Manny had the power to KO Mayweather and Atlas said YES.
Pac is not a pure boxer. He's a puncher/boxer who is not afraid to brawl. I think it's actually the other way around. Floyd has people fooled into thinking he's still as sharp as he used to be. Look at his last opponents, Oscar, Marquez, Hatton? Those guys have no pure boxing skill except Oscar and Marquez and we all know they were both dead.
Zab Judah was a speedy Southpaw which gave Floyd trouble so I think Pac gives him trouble because Pac doesn't gas in 5 rounds and he has arguably a stronger punch than Judah. Floyd hasn't had someone who can match his speed with a Southpaw stance in awhile and he's gotten comfortable with his level of opposition so I think Pac will take advantage of that big time, just like Zab Judah did.
Arguments will be settled in the ring.

you seriously have poor boxing knowledge
judah ONLY gave mayweather trouble because floyd let him punch himself out, it was a fvcking game plan also hardly any of those punches landed
so dont just be a sheep and fvcking watch the fight first before making stupid statements
oscar was dead at 154 LOL HAHAHAAHAH you are an idiot oscar was not the prime oscar but he was coming off an impressive win against mayorga where he was using the right hand more!!! and marquez was not fighting in his correct weight and had just come from being a lineal lightweight champion hmmmmm they must be dead you are an idiot
the only thing u have stated that is true was that hatton has no skills
and mayweather UD's pacman
Actually, I seriously think its the other way around. I think most people are like you and are being fooled into thinking that Pac is this great pure boxer now and has grown leaps & bounds since the JMM fight. He hasnt. Look at his opponents. Oscar, Diaz, & Hatton? Those guys have no pure boxing skill except Oscar and we all know he was dead. Cotto is better but he's not the same. I still say that JMM will give Pac hell all day and Pac wont look half as good when he faces another pure master boxer. He definatly had crazy speed with mad power in both hands and has grown so much but he still is also off balance on nearly every punch. Floyd will take advantage of that big time, just like JMM did

I usually dont agree with that moto either but this case is different. They do have similar styles to me except Floyd is actually bigger, faster, and better than JMM in every single catagory. Plus he has the D that JMM doesnt. People talk about JMM letting his hands go but how much did JMM let his hands go against Floyd? None hardly. My point is that JMM let his hands go a ton against Pac because Pac is so offensive and will give a master counter puncher alot of openings. Alot of openings. Thats why I say that Floyd will let his hands go alot since he is not fighting a cautious JMM, a cautious Oscar, a huge Baldy that outweighed Floyd by 20 pounds while Floyd looked flat at the weight, or a Hatton who just flat out hugged & smother him all night. Smothered him so closely that he even smothered his own punches like his own trainer & Manny Steward was saying. Its hard to let your hands go in those types of fights. He will let his hands go against Pac without a doubt
It's not so much the throwing punches in return part, though I do question Floyd's ability to just start throwing again, it's how the two counter punch. Marquez is willing to walk forward and take shots in order to set up his own counter punches, and fights much more of a warrior style. Floyd depends on making you miss and then countering, relying on the idea no one can break his defense.
But Floyd doesn't watch fight tapes. He usually just adjusts in fights according to his opponent's habits.
Yeah, Pacquiao has a bad habit of fighting hard and fast, and he comes in from weird angles that even Manny himself doesn't what he'll do next. he's that predictable...
I completely disagree with the reasoning that "because JMM had such success and he is a counter puncher Mayweather will do the same." They are two completely different fighters with two different styles.

As Shawn Porter said, it's hard to adjust for Manny Pacquiao unless you've been sparring him on the regular. Manny's movement is awkward and hard to time for most fighters. I think Floyd will have more trouble adjusting to Pac than any other he's been in with.
People are still being fooled by the Marquez fights, as if Pac and Roach hadn't learned from them.
I like it. It will give Mayweather a false sense of security.

You look @ the Mayweather JMM fight Mayweather was longer/taller and bigger and a lot faster. Pac is going to lunge it to reach May and i think he'll get picked off. Unless Pac can catch PBF and score a KD. I have PBF winning by descision.
Maybe Roach can think up a perfect gameplan. Who knows?

Atlas' last few picks
Manny > ODLH
Manny JMM
Manny > Cotto
Didn't Roach once say that a prime Duran would beat a prime Pac?
Prime Duran beats Godzilla.
I think your going over the top a little. Pac was not the green, one armed fighter he was when he fought JMM. It wasn't 10 years ago.....
He was as good as he is now IMO, people just don't want to give JMM that much credit for some reason.
I think this Cotto fight showed how good JMM really is and how he had to overcome the speed and power difference between him and Pac.
Floyd is a different animal though. Say what you want about him as a person, in the ring he's the truth.
yessir.....
