The outcome would have been the same. Cotto could have never lasted 12 rounds with Manny's speed. the weight thing was more of a mental game on Freddys part. i dont think it played into it at all. manny was faster, quicker, fresher and believe it....more powerful than cotto. people need to remember that speed is power
your the man shawn..... that 145 is for roach mind games
A better question would be to ask if Cotto had not gone through those wars, specifically Margarito, would the fight have been different?
Personally, maybe somewhat...but I still say Pac was to much and wins.

No but listen here. Did losing 2 pounds do Cotto any good? No. Fact of the matter is, Pacquiao could have still beaten Cotto without ristricting him of coming in at the WW limit of 147. So it was plain wrong.
I dont think the fight would have played out any different. Maybe we would have seen more activity out of Cotto in the mid rounds because he would have more stamina, but nothing that would affect the result of the fight.
I believe so..the weight was at 145 for a reason..would of still been close but I watched cotto for a long time first thing i noticed is that he looked weaker and more hesitant then usual and i believe it was his physical but there were alot of other intangibles that lost him that fight as well. To me Cotto is better then that fight.
No I dont think so. I think the main reason Cotto got beat the way he did was because he tried to hard to impose his size and strength instead of sticking to his gameplan.
