Why are so many people bashing Cotto?

He is a class act in and outside of the ring.

all of those hating on cotto are just that haters!!! how u can bash & dish this guy is just beyond!! but wtf... he will be back.. hopefully with another corner!!! he still have like 3 more fights left in the tank!!! I really wish he'd give himself the opportunity of being under the tutelage of an elite trainer. He could still do great things....

that's unsportsmanlike conduct He doesn't like to make friends in the fight, but what does he do after any win or loss? He congratulates his opponents and says nothing but good things.

i really admire cotto... nothing but class in him.. much respect to him..

Cotto will always have my respect and my support. That picture almost brings a tear to my eye. Pac is my favorite boxer, but Cotto was my second and still is. I was a little nervous for Pac after the first round, but towards the last 3 rounds I didn't want to see Cotto get hit like that. Cotto took the worst beating of his life against the best fighter of this generation and he was still first to congratulate Manny. These two guys are what boxing is all about. It's moments like that which make boxing the greatest sport in the world. As long as there are fighters like Pac and Cotto, boxing will live forever. I look forward to seeing Pac's next fight against Mayweather (hopefully), and look forward to seeing Cotto rebuild his career.

One word.....HATERS !!! You have the fan that will praise every fighter for one reason or another and the fan that just hates. Cotto has lost because he fights the best. He beat Mosley, he beat Clottey, Judah, malinaggi, quintana and he has lost TWICE....MARGARITO AND THE P4P KING, who many consider the best boxer in boxing. I think that needs to be applauded by the real boxing fan. If pacquiao would've lost he should applauded. There are other boxers who have not fought Clottey, Mosley, Pacquiao, Quintana, etc. Real Sad !!! I'm soooo close to not posting here anymore because boxing scene forum has become a joke last 2-3 months. Amen to that!

Also, we know how Cotto behaved in months leading up to fight....WITH CLASS. Agree? Look at Roach. It's like when pacquiao was told by Larry Merchant that Pacquiao did not show mercy to Cotto at end and Pacquiao laughed. MANY people would take that as a cheap shot or disrespecting Cotto. I did not, i took it as manny just being joyful and surprised he was beating him like he did. Cotto has NEVER said anything wrong about Pacquiao and only says high things on Pacquiao. I think Roach lures Cotto or any other fighter in trash talking.
