As I've said before, Hatton's limited skills as a brawler are absolutely gone. I don't see Marquez being in decline. He beats Hatton into retirement, no question about it. It isn't about Hatton's limited skills- it's the fact that, yes, he has reached his early 30s and his yo yo dieting has REALLY caught up. And the time it would take him to do it slowly, hes just getting older. Let me explain something factual. Alchohol, especially on a regular, daily basis- it ages your system. It's bad for your organs. I'm not saying its good or bad morally- just health wise. And thats for civillians. For boxers? Thats devastatingly bad. Look at Hatton, with his 'ale with the lads' and his greasy diet. No matter how gross it is to drink your f**king piss, its a lot worse on your body to drink beer every single week of your life, then it is to drink a pint of your piss during training sessions. Hatton won't survive. He should give the reborn Malignaggi a rematch, even though Malignaggi would out point the shit out of him now. Hatton should fight a Contender reject in Manchester, then bow out with a win, regardless of whom it was up against. He doesn't have it anymore.

What kills me is that it will be advertised that hatton 'has never lost in his hometown'. :gives: What's more is that hatton will be fighting a smaller guy. I read that Marquez is requesting the fight, so I may not be able to hang that on hatton...but if hatton requested it then I will laugh.

i dont think they are in "talks" i think its more of a case of marquez's team telling golden boy that they want the fight. see if it can be made. either way, hatton should stay retired.
