Forget about Pac... Why most boxing expert, writers, and fans hates Floyd and wanted to see him beaten? Why? What's the main reason?
Why the general boxing community don't like him? Don't answer with PPV numbers because we know people buy and watch him not to win but wanted him to lose...
Please answer.......
To answer your question in my view, a lot (not most and not everybody) people don't like his self-confident, braggadocios, self-loathing, etc, etc., whatever you wanna call it, nature. Those are qualities that, based on human nature since the beginning of time, are threatening to other humans in some shape or form. It all depends on how it's being delivered and how people choose to perceive it. It's always a choice.
Even though, his nature doesn't affect the lives of those who live thousands of miles away and don't know him or have walked in his shoes, many of those who are aware of him choose to be affected by his words or his actions either positively or negatively.
Some people just wish he would go away and disappear because they find that the criticism geared toward him has no effect on him or his well being.
Criticism seems to slide off of him like rain on stone. And he doesn't seem make an effort to please everyone who launches criticism at him.
Point being -- You cannot like everyone and You cannot please everyone.
That's not how the world works. Never has.
Solution: Accept him for what he is and what he has done -- Learn from it ... or ....
Change the channel.
But, that's not easy to do because people will still make positive or negative threads about him everyday.
One common criticism he gets is fighting people his own size, but what people really mean is they want him to fight bigger guys. Who has he fought that was smaller than him...JMM...possibly Ricky Hatton, who probably still outweighed him on fight night. What about the fights against Castillo who weighed 147 fight night and Baldomir who weighed 160.
He is also criticised for fighting people like Baldomir who was someone he was accused of ducking prior to the bout! I don't really think its anyones fault that Floyd and Cotto didn't fight...sometimes fights just don't happen because of the different stages people are at in their careers. He's out of retirement now so we should see some big fights starting with Pacquiao, who people are starting to claim he's scared of despite his continual mentioning of Manny's name.
He's probably hated because he talks a lot of smack to wind people up and that is because he wanted to get the attention that his skills deserved, whether bad or not because he knows that if his name is continually mentioned then he will be remembered and one day people will truly appreciate his skills.

Never confuse NSB (or its mascot, RA) with "boxing experts, and writers..."
Floyd is still well respected for his skills in normal circles. That's why the public is overwhelmingly calling for the Pac - May confrontation.
I did never hear a boxing analysis nor an article from a boxing expert that praised Mayweather recently.. That made me think there's really something wrong with him...
To make it simple. Everyone avoids high risk/ low reward but people seem to notice it more from Mayweather. Going by "Money" doesn't help either.
Thats all a myth, the majority of people pay to see him win. Ive bought many of his fights and never wanted to see him lose, I know others who are the same way. 1 Million people paid to see the Marquez fight, nobody expected him to lose.

I would like to know also. He was very respectful to Marquez and even acknowledged that he was the bigger man. Still, alot of people hated him.
That is a big misconception; that someone would buy a PPV event to see someone lose. I dislike Calzaghe and I wouldn't pay $49.95/ 60 to see him lose. I'm sure some people do that but not nearly the amount of people we think.
welcome to WWE's vince mcmahon's marketing genius...
PBF ripped it off from him...
They paid to see me lose too...as long as they pay...now look at my nice fancy car

I'm sure alot of people wanted to see the black man lose.
It's because he's a ducker, classless and runs his mouth faster than Bolt. He's the "black clown" of boxing together with this clan. You don't boast about your "0" if it's paperweight. You don't claim to be the best if you piss yourself just thinking of having to fight the elite. You don't say you're at par, or even better, than SRL if you only fight stuffed ducks.
I can go on, but let's wait for ****ing Flomos to stroke Gayweather's c*** 1st. :pat:
And how many people said floyd had a real good shot at losing each of these fights? a bunch of people. then after floyd beats them, people go back on their word and say hes nothing but a ducker. you cant have it both ways.

The general boxing community does not like him, because he's probably the most talented boxer today, BUT he wont take a fight that will test him. He's also very arrogant (My shits paid for, LOL - really?), and he has no right to be, till he proves himself and fights either Manny, or someone his own size.
For most of his career he has faced people his size/ bigger. Very rarely has he faced smaller opponents, rarely. People choose to forget that.
