Do you think that Pacman is really that intelligent that he's planning ahead and will try to incorporate the rope-a-dope just to lure Floyd to a fight? Imagine this, "Ding-ding!" 1st round, Pacman makes the sign of the Cross and heads straight into the ropes, hits his head with both gloves as if taunting Mayweather to come in and do his worst, wouldn't it look hilarious? http://www.emoticons4u.com/happy/1202.gif And just in case Floyd decides to ride on his bike after he gets clocked good by Pacman, Manny just stands in the middle of the ring with arms crossed waiting for Mayweather's next dance step, how would the audience react? If that scenario happens, I'll be ROTFLMAO!!! http://www.emoticons4u.com/happy/671.gif http://www.emoticons4u.com/happy/671.gif

It seems your butthurt because it's true! LMAO!!!
Every time Pacman wins, you and the other stans will find all the available excuses to suit your flomo taste.
We're living in a free world, so feel free to dream about Floyd and I hope you cum too...
Nah man, i think Pacman had a great win against Cotto, and while i predicted that ( i bet real money on pacman, i had him winning by ko round 9 and 10) i was really impressed about how easy he made it look. But at the same time his rope a dope doesnt impress me...Clottey did the same thing to make him work and didnt have a bruise on his face after the fight.
And Cotto power didnt look that great against Clottey too when he was on the ropes. Cotto power works when hes on the move and his opponent comes at him.
What impressed me about pac and what i feel will be more dangerous for Floyd was his foot work, and his ability to fire combinations in anticipation, he didnt let Cotto catch a breath between a flurry and the other, at times. Also his broken rithm in the combos and his angles wich are very deceiving.
What im saying is, Pac has a slight chance if he does what he is, which is a puncher. He tries to outbox Floyd, do the rope a dope, wait on him...Floyd is not Cotto ...or Dirrell for that matter.
TS is funny. Hes obviously another hater who keep saying that Floyd only runs in his fights...let me tell you something you dont win 40 times and against 13 former world champions if you just run.
TS also forgets that Cotto had no gameplan, couldnt adjust, showed signs of mental weakness, has little defense, cannot roll with the punches, and couldnt make a faint to save his life! When Pac does the rope a dope Floyd is going to faint a jab and hit him with his right hand or lft hook, after that hes gonna lay his elbow on pacs guard, use it to open him up and bust him again with a left hook.

I've read some of the earlier posts and y'all find the gameplan above, nothing more than a comical one.
Not me, I think PAC and Roach, will need to pullout every trick in the bag to goad Mayweather Jr., ie set-up traps. Here's an analogy, PAC would have to be like the Boise State of College football, y'all feel me.
One thing is certain, Floyd Jr. is much better going back and side-to-side, rather than puttin' the pressure on. And Floyd, as much a hard-worker that he is, I just don't think he has it in him to stay in "PAC's kitchen"
It just looks comical, but I'm dead serious too. Check my post #16 in case you missed it, I have almost the same take as you...
And the funny about this is that When cotto was running in the last few rounds that pacquaio quit chasing him and just stand in the middle of the ring saying wont you fight while the crowd was booing cotto.
That's what everyone does, it's what he wants. It doesn't work.
The key to beating Floyd is to take the center of the ring, sit down, and have a nice cup of tea.
lmao! !!
pac was a little wild against cotto... he's gonna have to be especially disciplined against floyd
The haters know that if Manny doesn't want to get hit while doing his usual a$$whooping, he can. The doubters knows he's fast, he's agile, and he's fearless. This is Pacman's way of saying to those doubting Thomases that he's got great whiskers and he took Cotto's vaunted body punches like it was nothing, in short, Pacman said, "Fukk all of you haters! Take this and shove it into your mouths!" lolz

When are you taking bets on Pacquiao - Mayweather?

if he does that then pac is finished, floyd has freakishly long arms. Pac has to get close to floyd to touch in and that aint happening. I see floyd easly winning this fight
Don't be ridiculous.
Pacquiao KO 2.
Nah, f*ck that, KO 1.

Seriously -- that's a good idea. Pacquiao should go in there and just have fun. No way can Floyd hurt him, he simply doesn't have the punching power, he ain't gonna hit as hard as Miguel Cotto. So why not go in there and just take the piss? (as they say in the UK).
I would love to see him do what you said.
Floyd will expect him to come right at him. If the opposite happened, Floyd is gonna look pretty stupid. It would totally f*ck up his game plan. Unless Pacquiao attacks, there is no fight.
Gopi, write to Freddie Roach and suggest it.

that would be hysterical, i wonder if the flomos would still support Floyd if that happens
Hilarious to say the least! I wonder if Floyd can still show his mug on national TV if that happens! LMAO!!!
how do you think manny would do against floyd gopi?
you're a decent pacman fan, would be good too hear you're opinion
My take? My opinion don't mean diddly squat here, you still want it? http://www.emoticons4u.com/happy/1202.gif
Both boxers has to fight a perfect fight to win this, and I don't know how will this play out, but here's how Pacquiao will take this, since that's what you ask of me.
Floyd can't just play possum in a corner and hopes his shoulder roll will deflect Pacman's incoming bombs because his shoulder roll will not work on a southpaw. It was designed to work against orthodox opponents. Pacman, as always, will come in weird angles while going in and out, swaying from side to side, will go forward or reverse at a flick of a finger to try to confuse May.
Floyd's offense as of late, has been minimal against a live body that can inflict serious damage to his cause. Defense will not win this one, offense will, because this fight of this great magnitude, the judges tends to lean more on the offensive fighter, the one who presses the action, especially on questionable rounds.
At some point in time, Floyd, and if he and his corner believes that he's trailing on the official scorecards, and the crowd will play a big part in clouding their minds on where they stand in whatever round this fight is on (because the "ooohs and ahhhs" will definitely because of Pac's workrate), he has to come to Pacquiao. Floyd going forward, which is not his strength, will be his downfall. A desperate boxer tends to commit mistakes and Pacman is the worst opponent to commit even a muniscule mistake...
I want to give Floyd's side but I'm a bit sleepy now...
Actually, Ray Arcel:
Arcel was more than a taskmaster, though. He had a genius for devising the right battle plan for his fighters. For instance, when Alfonso Frazer was to fight an Argentine, Nicolino Loche, for the junior welterweight title in Panama in 1972, Arcel had no idea of what strategy would work because he had never seen Loche fight.
So Arcel dressed up like a local -- in dark glasses, army shoes, a work shirt and a Panama hat -- and attended a public workout of Loche's.
"Loche would feint you and keep backing up until he got near the ropes," Arcel told Dave Anderson in the book "In The Corner."
"Then he had an uncanny ability to twist you into the ropes. He'd take you by surprise. By the time you realized where you were, he'd bang the hell out of you.
"That night I talked to Frazer. I said: 'The minute he starts backing up like that, don't follow him. Just stand there and look at him.' The night of the fight, the place is mobbed. When the fight began, sure enough Loche started to back up, but Frazer just stood there and waved his glove. When he did that, those 20,000 lunatics let loose. You never heard screaming and hollering like that in all your life. Frazer won the fight right then and there. The other guy couldn't fight anymore."
Frazer beat Loche by a decision.

thanks for the article bro, green k even if my rep is weak heheheh
Pac should chase him first and when it turned to be very obvious that floyd don't want to engage, then pac should do that... I can't imagine it myself.. LOL.
