I used to lean towards the thought that Tony cheated against Miguel,

Considering the circumstances of Margarito vs Mosley, I still find it hard to believe Marg wasn't packing bricks in his gloves. Manny hit Cotto with more shots than Margarito did (power shots mind you). I don't look at it as Cotto's "official" 1st loss, but I think it was a much more dominating win for Pacquiao than what Margarito's win now and in the yrs to come will be viewed as.

Margarito used plaster, I have no doubt in my mind. Margarito's arm punches looked like bombs when they landed on Cotto. No doubt in my mind.

Cotto has a lot of scar tissue on his face from the Margarito and Clottey fights. That means it is easier to cut him. The huge cut he has just below the left eyebrow reopened when Manny landed heavily in the late rounds. You look back and notice the damage Margarito did was not previously done. Pacman did damage him pretty good, but Cotto's face already had taken irreparable damage from 2 of his 3 last fights.

There were two Cotto dudes watching Pac wrap his hands, no excuses. Get out of here with this bitch ass excuse, there was a California official in the fight with Mosley and it got by him too. I guess everyone had loaded wraps in Gatti's fight too because he looked shit after tough fights as well. Its also funny that before this fight Cotto has "soft skin" because of the beating he took from Marg, but all of a sudden Marg didn't have loaded gloves? Or could it be Cotto got soft because of the wraps?

Margarito ruined his reputation when he choose to use plaster against Mosley. Margaritos whole career is in speculation while Manny is not, because Manny is a warrior. That would be great if that were the topic. But its not. His reputation will remain soiled, but last nights reconfiguration of Cottos face actually took some steam off of the "Tony cheated against Miguel" train. A large part of the argument that Tony cheated was, "look at his face, he never ever looked like that before". Well, yea, he never got hit like that before either. Last night, he got hit like that again, and his face got contorted again.
