I have a serious question to ask.........

Don't get me wrong, I take nothing from Pac, but the pattern I see Cotto falling into, and it would not help him in a rematch with Margo. Cotto is a two trick pony! He tries to seek and destroy, and when that doesn't work, he runs. Running didn't help the first time with Margo, and it won't again. I think a Margo rematch is a bad idea. Period! I used to scoff at those who said cotto was a shot figher, but he is.. his weak point... his tendency to bleed profusely through the nose... cotto was spitting out blood by the 6th round... he lost his power because he could not breathe and therefore in order to avoid a KO had to run. margo would beat him again with out the plaster..the damage margo did to him by breaking his nose is irreparable. He should not fight margo.

NO. Horrible idea. Cotto needs a long rest and a guy not like Margarito. Berto would have been perfect for him. I just hope he's in a winnable fight this summer at the Garden because I want to see him fight in person before he retires. I see that window closing. I think he has one more good fight in him. Just one.

agree................ what if marg didnt use plaster against cotto, and in the rematch marg does the same thing to cotto but earlier in the fight say the 7th round, it will ruin cotto. cotto needs to fight a tuneup fight. then maybe fight berto(after mosley beats bert).

Makes sense for both guys, they both got destroyed in their last fights.

I see alot of people throwing around the idea of Margarito/Cotto 2. The question I ask is this, Cotto has slowed down, and his chin does seem very unstable. He still runs as a plan B, and when that doesn't work, he gets battered on the ropes (happened against Margo, and Pac, most likely would have happened against Clottey, but that ****er doesn't throw punches). Now I ask, what if the year suspension helped Margo more than it hurt him? What if that is the rest he needed? What if Cotto is more done than we know?
