Pac vs PBF no running: Toe to Toe

First of all, congrats to Manny Pacquiao on a tremendous win. Second, the title of this thread implies that in a perfect world Mayweather is not allowed to use "ring generalship" to win. As if Manny won't also use "ring generalship" if he finds the need to adjust his strategy if Floyd gets the best of him. I like Mayweather and everything but he gets raped if he goes toe to toe with pac, He might make pac miss when standing toe to toe but he cant make him miss all the time. yeah because Floyd wont be throwing at all?

You do realize he was boxing off his back-foot in all those fights you mentioned. You don't know what toe-to-toe is and its not Floyds style genius. Dont tell me nothing man. I have all the fights on tape. He's on the back foot some against N'Dou because he's a big guy walking Floyd down but he spends a ton of time in that fight in the pocket toe to toe and also a good amount coming after N'Dou. Thats all the HBO team talked about the whole fight. In every fight Floyd has had with a Southpaw he walks them down so thats exactly what he did with Zab & Chop. Go back and watch it. he walks them down all night. Gatt is the only one up for debate but he still spends a good amount of time being offensive and going toe to toe with him

Its a joke how people think Floyd cant fight on the inside, cant go toe to toe, and has never walked anyone down. in a toe to toe battle, i would go with pac. i remember seeing floyd brawling with oscar in the final seconds of the 12th and oscar was winning that exchange. floyd just isn't a toe to toe fighter.

Floyd would lose to many fighters that way, good thing he is a smart fighter.
