Pacquiao badly swollen ear

He definitely did do some damage to the pac, nevertheless - Cotto got a lot of beating on the head and the face though (location stats), which is lot worst than cauliflower ears. Especially now that it's happened twice (margcheato being the first time). I believe when pac was doing his rope-a-dope, Cotto tagged him with an uppercat which definitely snapped Pac's head back. Shouldn't have happened because the corner was clearly stating that he should dart in and out. I think the brawler mentality in Pac took over and it caused him to take some unnecessary hits.

cauliflower ear basically happens in all contact sport (boxing, mixed martial arts and etc). Just look at how many MMA fighters have cauliflower ears. The best way to fix em and make sure there is no long term damage is to drain em right away before it hardens.

I thought his face was neat but after seeing that picture it looks like both of his eyes are damaged as well

Its ok as long as you drain it in time.If you don't drain it right after it happens then the fluid calcifies and your ear stays like that. Nah, you got couple days to drain it. But each day it gets dried a little. I had that exact same bandage over my ear when I had cauliflower from bjj. That thing is so uncomfortable, I have a feeling Pac is going to take it off too soon.

Any of you guys saw pacquiaos left ear in the post fight interview? That was so ****ing nasty ive never seen anything like that before! Is it dangerous? I think cotto's relentless left hooks caused that. Sorry I have no pictures of it yet. Yeah, his ear was cauliflowered, it's pretty much where blood builds up in the ear. They had to drain the blood out. Cotto landed a few left hooks around the guard that landed around the ear area.
