Will Mayweather achieve Ring Mag. P4P #1 with Cotto victory?

Just because you guys have hate for Floyd doesnt mean you can justify putting someone else in that spot. I dont care if Cotto destroys Pac in 3 rounds, there is no way you can look at that cat and tell the world that he is the best fighter in the sport. The same goes for Shane and Hopkins. There aint no way you can look at those cats and say that when they all just recently lost clear cut fights. Seriously, you guys are going to say one of those 3 are the best in the world? I really like Floyd but I don't understand how a Cotto victory would benefit him at all. Floyd can't be #1 P4P if we can't even find out if he's the best welterweight. Just the win over the great Baldomir a couple years ago isn't enough.

Oscar was the doorway to stardom. Oscars skill set and talent has never been on the same level of floyds. fighting floyd is a proving ground, cant say the same for DLHand you know that Floyd is great. I think his best attribute is his intelligence. However if Floyd fights #2, beats #2, therefore he earns #2... if Cotto fights #1, beats #1, therefore he should earn #1.

So if Floyd went up to MW to fight Pavlik instead of fighting Hatton in late 2008, and lost, Pavlik should have been P4P #1? Had Floyd beaten Abraham and Taylor before, of course.
