If you're an American and you're an athletic, powerful guy-- you can make millions of dollars in the NFL/NBA/MLB/NHL. Even if you sit on the bench you you will make hundreds of thousands. Hence, middleweight+ more and more come from countries where people are tall, but have less access/exposure to major american sports. lol absurd excuse, nothing more. 1)Those sports and leagues have always existed 2) The same could be said about any other country. People need to understand the fact that the cold war is over and eastern Europeans are changing the face of pro boxing...and it will never be the same again due to the increased competition as a result of them being able to compete at pro level. :boxing: i i agree...the yanks just wont admit it but the eastern europeans are going to dominate...

They have always done well in the ams, so now that more and more turn professional from the former eastern bloc, it's only natural for them to take their share of the market. Add to that that there's substantially more poverty in those countries and you have the perfect breeding-ground for hungry pro fighters. good points...
