what i find funny...is all the people who are riding pacs nuts. when roach just openly admited, the reason why he had pac fight dlh, hatton, and now Cotto. is because he only wants to fight guys who are shot... they called out the wrong guy this time, b/c cotto isnt shot Pac is nothing but hype and a loser. roach dont want him in the ring with viable fighters. only shot ones... this is the most pathetic team in boxing :pat: silly me!!! i thought this whole time, pac fought those fights b/c they were big money fights!

I was listening to the Murph and Mac show on the radio and they spoke to Chris Mannix of Cnnsi and he said he spoke to Roach for about 30 minutes yesterday and asked him a few questions. Here is what Roach said basically: He was asked if there were more distractions than usual for this camp Roach: I would have liked for Manny to just trained at Wildcard gym but the camp was not wasted in the Philippines. He has never seen Pacquiao this focused and ready for a fight. He only said they wasted about a week though when Pacquiao had to talk to politicians and all that. He was then asked if Cotto was any different from DLH/Hatton Roach: Cotto is definitely a shot fighter. His reflexes and speed and ability to punch and be punched is not the same. It hasn't been the same since the Margarito fight. We really believe we will score an early knockout on him. Mannix said there was no BS in Roach he was completely serious about the early knockout. anyway it isn't word for word but still interesting bump this thread sunday morning, after the fight's over and cotto goes down in the fifth.

do you say that because he lost his 0. or because of the way he was beaten? do you feel that every fighter changes mentally after the first ko loss? after a KO loss that brutal, It'd be strange for a fighter not to change. He seems nervous in the later rounds like he doesn't have confidence in himself or his stamina. The only shot thing about Cotto is his confidence.

there is some truth to what roach says. oscar couldn't pull the trigger. hatton was not as good as his record. cotto has not looked great after margarito. but roach goes overboard. it is disrespectful to call cotto shot that woman in your av is fine ART homie but yeah, freddie just talking.
