Is Angulo the new Margarito?

If Angulo can improve his ability to cut off the ring and work on his defense, he'll be a real force in the division Yep, Angulo is a good fighter, particularly if you stand infront of him, but he is a bit methodical and he needs to cut the ring down better as you said. What made JJC so good for me was that besides a cast iron jaw, he was one of the best fighters ever at cutting the ring down.

Right now he is better..not sure about his chin and work rate when he steps up and gets more experience...but he is fundamentaly better (sp) I would agree he is fundamentally better but he's not a better fighter than Marg. Marg would KO him if they were to fight right now but I think Angulo can be better in time and is better after 16 fights than Marg was. I think Marg's chin is better though.

U mean a cheating scum? Margarito is disgrace to mexico's boxing legacy. Angulo is another warrior who will mos likely win a belt and be a respectable champion

By the time Angulo has 25 fights,he will be much better than Margarito!!

Angulo is much better technically, what Angulo needs to do is learn to cut off the ring better and quicken up his feet because if he does not lateral movement and speed will kill him.

Angulo reminds me a lot of Margarito. They're both tough Mexican fighters who keep going at it. They can take some good punishment and won't quit. They both bring excitement. Do you think he's the new Margarito? Only if he starts using plaster of paris.

He has better hand speed and isn't as wide open as Margarito but he doesn't have Margarito's chin, maybe not even his heart. He is better all around though. I can't really say, I'll have to wait.
