Yes. that's great news.
why would i lie? that is what i read.
$1 milly divided by 10% = $10 milly
"Kizer said that had the bout agreements not been changed to 147, Mayweather would have faced a fine from the commission in addition to whatever penalty he had agreed to pay Marquez. For being two pounds overweight, Kizer said the penalty would have been 10 percent of his purse, or $1 million. Had he been three pounds over (147 pounds), the figure would have jumped to a 20 percent fine"

ok. thanks for the link.
That's why promoters are so bitter when someone elaves them. They might have spent millinos on promoting and effort and then if that fighter becomes too big, they leave.
but that is why they have buyout clauses in the contract. If you want to leave, it would cost you 500 thou or a milly.
Please read man, Even Sports Illustrated are saying they only getting what I already posted in this thread.
If the P.P.V does good they will get more...
anyway it goes good for them.
:cool2:
Just posting that I bet with Horus 55k now. Just incase someone jumps in and says thart I bet them. No you didn;t because we have a bet.
True, but taking a percentage of total revenue more so effects the purse opposed to getting a flat rate atlest when dealing with large numbers.
That was the point anyways, not what Arum took from both guys.
I see. I was talking on the point of view of each fighter and assumed you was because of the thread title.
The thing about revenue is that if it isn't a success then the promoter could be in a lost and the fighters still get their guranteed.

Anybody have a link to verify that this is actually what was said by the NSAC? I can't find one.

• Early reports say that once the pay-per-view numbers are counted, Pacquiao will come away with close to $18 million (with $7.5 million guaranteed) after this fight, with Cotto picking up around $10 million. That leads to the inevitable question: How much would be in it for the winner against Floyd Mayweather?

Yeah but every promoter makes the excess money. GBP from Floyd, Frank Warren from Amir Khan, Dibella from Taylor, DK from Tito.
He doesn't take % from their purse. That's important because it's their money and whatever Arum makes is not taken from what they have agreed to be paid. Understand?
So they keep that 27% or whatever figure you talked about. None goes to Arum. That's an important fact. It's a amtter of a mant aking 27% or not from your purse.

He called me a fucking faggot, I am not going to be nice about that sorry~
only faqqots get mad when they are called faqqots.
Why are you so upset sweetie?
This is the guy who claims he deserves a bigger share than Mayweather, how absurd,Mayweather gets a guaranted payment of $15m fighting a tune up like Marquez,Pacquiao gets paid $7.5m in the biggest fight of his careers.
Infact where are you getting your stats? Is this from Floyd himself who has been proven to lie?

He is self promoted. I fI promtoed myself I would actually gurantee myself about 100 mil a fight you know
question: if pacman's guarantee is lower than floyd's guarantee does that mean that this fight has to have more ppv for pacman to make same or more than floyd?
who gets that 2 milly?
according to nevada commission floyd's guarantee was ten milly and marquez guarantee was 3.2 milly.
13.2 milly vs 11.5 milly. the total guanrantee was higher for the sept 19 fight.
I'm in love with you A/V, who is that?
What was Mayweather's guaranteed purse vs. Marquez, not according to news reports or whatever, but according to the contract filed with the NSAC?
Serious question.
