Cotto vs PAc weigh in question

If you think 1 pound doesn't make a difference than why did Roach ask for 145. You don't ask for things for no reason. And a fighter isn't going to come out and say "I'm going to have problems making 145". Just saying he wouldn't be as strong as he would be at 146 because that 1 pound does something to you. because it's his job to ask. managers/trainers ask for every little thing that might or might not help. why do people ask for grant instead of everlast gloves? why do people ask for a smaller or bigger ring? why do people ask for the 1st or last ring entrance? why do people ask for the 1st or 2nd introduction? you ask for every little thing that you can get. whether it helps or not.

Cotto will have no problems getting to 145. Cotto said in his last fight with clottey that he didn't do anything in the last 24 hours prior to the weigh in to get to 146.. I think he will make the 145 but he won't be as strong if he were to come in at 146. they always say 1 pound makes a huge difference. I just want to start this off by saying I am a fan of both fighters, and do not feel that Cotto will have ANY TROUBLE coming in at 145....this is just a "what if?" question. IF Miguel Cotto somehow does not make 145 I know there is a $1 million fine for every pound over 145. Say Cotto comes in at 147....instead of paying the $2 mill fine, can Pacquiao and his team decline the fine and make Cotto re-weigh in until he comes in at 145? I mean, come fight night Pac is probly gonna be giving up 6-8 lbs IF cotto makes 145. If Cotto comes in at 147 he could be giving up 10-11 lbs. Is that a possibility or is the only way around it to pay the fine? team pac can complain and threaten to pull out of the fight. if cotto wants the payday he will have to comply

By the way, Cotto will come in at 155!!!! man he use to come in above 155 when he was at 140. quit lying to yourself.

Cotto will have 2 hours affte the oficial weight in, to get rid off the 2 pounds,after that he will have to pay! The funny thing would be if Cotto comes at 145 and then Pac comes in at 147, that would be a real mess! pac won't come in at 147. he weighed in at 138 his last fight. at fight night he was 148 and that was with clothes and shoes on.

By the way, Cotto will come in at 155!!!! more like 160

Mosley talked about this and not many people are putting enough attention into this fact.
