Take your pick:
a) You are a hater.
b) You are very susceptible to marketing/advertising/hype (SHEEP).
c) You are dumb.
Come Saturday night you will see a one sided beatdown on the brave Manny Pacquiao that will end on rounds 7-9 by ref stoppage.
And I will bump this after you are proven wrong.

Or you can bet 4K with me, since you are so sure Pacquiao will win.
In fact, since you are so sure about him winning, why not give me 3:1 odds?
done..
my points are too spoken for for 3:1...
go with even odds... 1:1
sig it
No prob man. I have said it before and I'll say it again:
Manny Pacquiao is the fighter of the decade, and deserves all the respect in the world even in a loss against Cotto for having the courage to face such a dangerous fighter in his own weight class.
In fact, if Cotto doesn't knocks him out, he's P4P better than Cotto in my book.
Pacquiao is the real deal. I just think this was a mismatch. Like Cotto vs. Abraham.
The thing is ... if he is P4P better than Cotto, he will have a chance and IMO, size-wise, this is no mismatch in any stretch. Physical dimensions are roughly the same. Fighting weight advantage of Cotto might be around 8-12lbs... nothing that the old greats did not overcome. It is a chance to increase his stock as one of the truly great ones. But I respect your opinion.
Ah, OK man, I get what you're saying now. Think I misunderstood at first.

I might bump the hell out of this on the 14th. Or I might decide to be more mature and not gloat.
The suspense on what I'm going to decide is killing me

My "beef" is with these supposed pros acting like common fans, all blind and sheepish.

errrrr. what again? you're confusing yourself. read kevinjesus post above and be enlightened.
No, the only one confused is you.
You implied that marketing does not create 6 championships.
I answered you saying that this was not a 6 championship fight, this was a 145 pound fight. Meaning: NONE of Pacquiao's past 6 championships have a thing to do with this being a mismatch or not. He is fighting the WW champion at 145 and my post was regarding his 145 pound fight with Cotto. No attack was meant or implied on Pac or his history.
No, they are not like everyone else in this forum. They are boxing professionals.
One thing is to be a fan and a forum poster, and another thing is to be a pro boxer, trainer, champion. They shouldn't be blind. Read Berinstain, damn what a hater.
dude my pick to win is cotto too. no doubt but I mean to say that because you're fighter you can't be a spectator is rediculous. They are fans themselves too. When it concerns their careers then they are professionals. I read that article with the picks too and i figured a lot of them werent really avid fans. But i mean idk i wouldnt waste my breath bashing on these guys because who they pick dont matter.
I'm picking Pacquiao because of the way he fought Oscar. Consensus seems to be that Oscar was a dead man that night, but I wonder if that's in part a rationalization.

The thing is, pretty much all the people I've spoken to don't even mind if Pacquiao loses, we just dig the fact that he's stepping up to the plate and taking a risk. Win or lose, neither fighter loses my respect. Losses? Who gives a shit. Being undefeated is overrated, and that's coming from a Calzaghe fan.

but the hate for Floyd made people BELIEVE Márquez had a chance.
I'm somewhat of a Marquez fan who doesn't like Floyd but I bet against Marquez. Not all of us are stupid, sir.

That was regarding your not so brilliant posting. I am NOT questioning Pacquiao's greatness. Those are those 6 championships.
I am questioning the fight with Miguel Cotto. Simple as that.
This would be like a blown up Miguel against Arthur Abraham. Miguel would get mugged.
Manny will be mugged next Saturday.
