I see a lot of people talking shit about Haye and not giving him any props. So c'mon guys list all the fighters that achieved more than Haye in their first 24 fights.
WBA,WBC,WBO,Ring Magazine Cruiserweight Champ
WBA Heavyweight Champ
Haye is no bum. But, he is not great either. He just got done beating the weakest title holder in the HW division. I am not trying to knock him. But, is the truth Valuev was nothin special. Haye does bring flavor in the HW division though. And, lets see what he does. But, he is not a bum
Back to the question of the TS. Holyfield by his 25 fight. Was unified undisputed CW champion and unified undisputed HW champion all that in 25 fights. Meaning in 25 fights had ALL the belts at CW and HW. And, remain undefeated at top of that without tasting the canvas/ That is amazing. And, he accomplished that at younger age than Haye. Holyfield is the "Real Deal" the jury is still out on Haye...
lol mad.
You didn't get the response you were seeking and then changed up your stance.
I have nothing to be mad about.
David Haye isn't anything special right now and hasn't done anything special either.
and I like David Haye.
Please tell me how i changed my stance? I asked a simple question to see how many boxers have done what Haye has, a few people have took it the wrong way and you're acting like a dickhead.
Can you ****ing read? I said "All the names mentioned in this thread (apart from Leon Spinks) were very good fighters and nowhere near bums." Then you mention DLH again and call me a fool, you're the fool for not reading my post properly
What new question did i get?
I never claimed Haye to be the best or that nobody achieved what Haye had done. I just asked for people to name fighters that had achieved what Haye had done. Why are some people getting mad because of it?

What are you on about?
First, you get clowned on your own question, then run to the garage to fetch a new one.
What Haye has done is nothing extraordinary, as its been done before.

Maybe you are right. Doesn't matter though.
Haye is not a bum, I wouldn't say that.
I would say Valuev was exposed twice by people Haye's size or smaller, so let's not get ahead of ourselves and proclaim Haye as this monster either.
Time will tell on Haye's heavyweight ability.
And with 4 minutes on boxrec, we could name numerous fighters with better pedigrees in their first 25 fights and people who moved weight classes.
I know what SIX is getting at, but let's not overhype Haye either.
In regards to the bold, it's a similar situation to a few weeks ago when Adamek was being talked about as this beast for stopping Golota.
Oscar De La Hoya.
I mean seriously, how many times do you need to be made to look a fool?
WTF are you on about? I said "All the names mentioned in this thread (apart from Leon Spinks) were very good fighters and nowhere near bums."
So why isn't every boxer doing it?

More than Spinks has been named.
Did that also cause the spit to come dripping out of his mouth? :lol1:
no, he is a big guy and mouth breathing to compensate for the lack of oxygenation.
edit: btw, if u have ever worn a mouthpeice.....
Not with 8 champs in each division.
Not that big of a deal at all to be honest.

ahh, i wanna be even more clear. the alignment from knee to ankle was off, causing his foot to almost roll. ouch. that had to have caused a short but somewhat sharp line of pain in his lower leg.
ahh! now i see it! valuev wasnt hurt by haye! i originally though that valuev was simply off-balance and his tiredness made his little stumble look worse.
now, thanks to looking at it carefull, as that six shooter poster has as a sig, i see that valuev almost twisted his leg when he stepped back. watch valev's back leg as he steps back and u can see he almost rolls his ankle. so that is why he looked like he stumbled from a punch! very clear now!
i was close though.
btw, watch his left leg, that is the one that steps back. then watch how he reacts immediately after picking his leg up. i learn human mechanics as part of medical school and my own training. i recognize a near twisted leg when i see one.

Just checked and it' 25.
The point of this thread is not to say Haye is the best fighter ever, it is to try and show morons that call Haye a bum and overhyped that what he has done in is short career is pretty impressive.

I believe it was 23 actually.
And another point about Holy, cruiser was 190 then. It wasn't 200 lbs until 2003.
I know I am nitpicking but just trying to be factual.
I suppose I could look this up, but I trust my knowledge on the fly.
I'm not sure of the year change, but I do know for a fact it was 190 limit.
I know that because I thought it was weird that it wasn't just an even 200.

I'm going to disagree.
I remember going into the Qawi fight that Spinks was 22-0-0, and after that he made a few more defenses at 175. He may have been like 26-0-0 or 27-0-0.
