The Sugar man is a people person and a warrior no doubt, he's great for boxing especially after handing margocheato an ass whoop'n. He can and will be champion again before he retires IMO...:boxing: As far as the packman having power in his punches...he has some, but here's the difference... The packman hits you fast and the damage is cumulative, but it's mostly power for the lower weight classes. In this weight class it's more points than power cuz when you hit someone that weighs more, it's harder to move'm and in the end you could end up hurting your wrists rather than the other fighter. Cotto's power is undeniable, when he hits you it isn't for points, his shots are going through your head or body and trying to come out the other side. He can deliver such damage because he has a bigger bone structure thereby hurting the other fighter rather than himself (hands/wrists). SCARY!...:tragedy: Margarito wanted or had with the plaster of paris what Cotto has naturally..."a bigger bone structure."

I can see how Cotto hits harder then Margarito. Margarito is more of a sheer strength fighter then a power puncher. Its kind of like back when Tito, Oscar and Ike Quartey ran the welterweight division back in the day. Tito was known as the pure power puncher where as Quartey was known for his sheer strength.

Mosley is an agressive speedy fighter. He is also a very techinical boxer. Cotto beat him on his game. Pacquiao can bring the best performance of his life and he still has a chance of getting caught against this very dangerous fighter. Just to remember you, Cotto KD'ed Clottey with a jab, and also hurted him with a body shot. Clottey is a proved wall and had trouble with Cotto's power, Mosley is a fast guy and had trouble with Cotto "timing". Pacquiao is in a very VERY dangerous fight. 2nd that. You said it bro

Both Oscar and David Diaz stated he doesn't with big power more than him being really fast. Accurate, fast punching does equal power, but an overall bigger guy with a hard punch can apply more strength because of his size and apply much more power. Why do you think there's weight classes for to begin with?

Clottey came in at 170 versus Corrales. And he's been quoted as saying he's come in as high as 175. Maybe he's lying but the Corrales weight was mentioned during the fight.

Pacquiao also hits harder than Margarito. I agree with Samurai. Because it is the precision that will make the difference. You can get hammered from Margarito at all angles, but if you get a clean, sniper shot from Pacquiao I can see Cotto going.

Visually, does he look bigger or smaller when he fought Chico (5:55 in the video above) than when he fought Cotto ? To me he looked more cut against Cotto. I'll guess he weighed around 165 vs. Cotto.

I don't know why the thought of Pac hitting harder than Marg is so ridiculous. I believe that 100%, i think a lot of people underestimate Pac's power. And before I get labeled a Pac nuthugger, I would like to clarify that I'm not. I'm a Cotto nuthugger :D
