I don't see a whole lot from Valuev except the fact that he's very big and has a decent jab. He was stalking David Haye, but he certainly wouldn't need to stalk David Tua. Valuev may well be hard to knock over and is not the sort of person most people could stand with - but that doesn't include Tua. Yes, Tua can be outboxed, and he'd be giving up probably the biggest difference in height ever. But Valuev is certainly not a Lennox Lewis when it comes to skill. Tua would not have trouble landing shots. He also wouldn't be running away and wouldn't be afraid to trade.
I think it is an intriguing match up. I'd put my money on Tua.
If you can neutralise that left hook, Tua is harmless, Haye has power in both hands and showed great lateral movement and stamina, tua is good at the old bob and weave but is flat footed, i think valuev wide ud's him
haye showed great stamina? are u nuts? he threw like 10 punchers per round

tua's too short. the klits would have the best shot at starching valuev
rofl at greata's posts getting ignored by the ignoramus who dont want to debate with a man who knows his stuff......dunno if tuad win(guy is kind of a pussy since the lennoxx fight) but id like his chances on landing a left hook on that big ass target with bad defense....
Tua is 9 years older than when he fought lewis.
3 years ago he went the distance with a 16 loss bum.
Shane cameron is a shit fighter with no defense, no power, no speed, no movement and a glass jaw, a win over shane cameron doesnt mean anything.
His comeback fights prior to the Cameron bout meant nothing, as he had legal disputes going on and wasn't training properly. The Cameron bout marked the first time Tua had taken training seriously in many years.
Lewis, apart from being a zillion times more skillful than Valuev is, was much faster on his feet, and much more powerful and accurate. I can't believe anyone would even compare the two. Tua did beat Danell Nicholson, who was no idiot. Obed Sullivan was also never stopped and Tua knocked him out early.
Let's not mention Lennox Lewis and Valuev in the same sentence. Some people might get the wrong impression.
Valuev would grab hold of Tua if he went up close.
His speed isn't that much slower than Tua either. His guard is pretty tight and unless you are pinpoint, then you won't hit him.
Tua would get hit aswell.
I'm a fan of Tua but I don't think he could KO Valuev. Tua is a warrior and I love his style, but physically he just does not have it to beat Valuev up.
Tua wouldnt throw loads of shots, against lewis tua was throwing one shot at a time.
Yeah, that was Lennox Lewis. Last time I checked, Lennox Lewis was a top 10-15 ATG. Let's be fair now.
Tua has a tight left hook and can triple them, but at 5.10 he needs to reach
his arms from shoulder height which could be about 2 feet higher. I mean Haye has 78 inch reach and I just saw Tua has only 70.
Tua basically only has that left hook which is great and I don't think it's enough to KO Valuev because he won't hit him as often and especially with the lack of speed compared to Haye.
He'd be throwing a ton of shots though. Haye was not . Tua's overhand right usually has a lot more success at connecting than his left hook. If Valuev took too many bombs he'd crumble, trust me. Haye showed Valuev can be hurt. Valuev does not have an Oliver McCall chin: just a good one. David Tua would wear Valuev down with bombs all over his body. Unless Valuev changed his tactics to a defensive style, I think Dave would have a great shot.
I'm an idiot? Why is that? Do you think Tua couldn't reach Valuev's head? You have to remember, Tua's shots hurt anywhere they land. Tua would just need to work the body first, and I'm sure he could somehow reach Valuev's head.

guess u havent seen lewis-tua
:blowjob:
I have. But Valuev is not Lennox Lewis.
I could be a bit more harsh, but Valuev does seem like a nice guy.
But yeah, big difference in skill
It's a huge height difference obviously but Valuev would be punching down at the bobbing & weaving Tua, making himself shorter and a more available target in the process. Tua goes upstairs with a left hook and shakes up Valuev's equilibrium.
5'10 to be precise. You are an idiot.
