David Haye was tiny compared to him, everyone complains that he didn't stand and trade, but if he did then that would of been his downfall.... think about it, Valuevs defence wasn't awful, he had a tight guard at times, so Haye had to find a way in. Its like moaning a staw-weight didn't stand and trade with a cruiser-wieght... you guys also forget, david haye is the ONLY PERSON ever to wobble Valuev in his whole career.
Valuev was hitting air most of the fight, since when have you been scored for hitting air? Hayes punches were landing also, wether it was a jab to the body or a hook to the head, almost of Valuevs punches were missing, valuev looked like a noob boxer.
Everyone moaned when Dirreel lost this way to Froch but because a british boxer wins this way, he should of lost?!
Sure, I did not suggest otherwise. I simply stated the likely reason why Haye may have pulled out of the deal with the Klitschkos.
the theory is he never wanted to fight them in the fight place, but wanted to create the perception that they were actually avoiding him...put it this way, if im of of the K brothers, im going to make sure im getting the lions share of every purse i fight in...
they deserve it for being the biggest draws in the division by far...
haye can obviously play the hype game, for that he's the undisputed champ...i just get annoyed when the antics arent backed up by the performance as is the case with mayweather...
such is the plight of being an undersized, inexperienced, unproven contender...
heres how boxing works: you make more money if you beat the best...not because you talk the best game...

I think that the K bros were getting ALL of the gate money and virtually ALL of the HBO money which left Haye to get what Sentana sports was gonna pay him for the fights. Of course Sentana went bankrupt which means that Haye would have not gotten paid nearly anything for fighting BOTH of the K bros; at least that's my interpretation of the situation.

haye didnt have to do shit...he chose this fight, after backing out with a two real heavyweights...
the dude is a scared little bitch as a heavyweight...he needed to rally to win this one in the final two rounds in one of the most boring fights in boxing history...
get off the dudes nuts already...he aint a real heavyweight...never will be...

correct me if im wrong but haye got injured and asked the bros if they could delay the fight like a week or two??? and the bros declined?
youre wrong...
haye ran his mouth, and twice found excuses not to fight...the brothers k got sick of a short, skinny chump who simply runs his mouth, so they moved on and beat the crap out of other people...
the brothers would take haye to school...do you really not think so?
so if haye beats the brothers, what will be your excuses then? he was fighting a man whos never been hurt in his whole career.. when the compustats come in, I'm sure the boxingscene editors as bitter as they are will hate putting them on because it will show a clear domination on Hayes part.
correct me if im wrong, but didnt haye already back out of both of those fights? why do think that might be?
IF nonito donaire beats the brothers K, i would respect him as the heavyweight champ too...whats your point?

Well stated, I ask everyone on this forum this question. What would you do if you had to fight a man 1.5 ft taller than you and 100lbs heavier? take chances or be cautious?

Haye done what he had to do, did people actually think he was going to trade with Valuev?! If he did, then he would be leaving himself wide open to Valuev. He picked the right tactics and it made Valuev look a snail.
People also forget that Valuev is by far one of the weaker punchers in the devision and not nearly as strong for his size.
people also forget that haye chose to move up to heavyweight and fight valuev...
the fight was terrible...period...
its funny now a britsh fighter has won its like this, but if Direll won, I bet everyone would be like "he boxed amazingly"... its funny because even the editors on boxingscene were having a dig at Froch saying things like "thats an insult to mayweather who runs all the time" but because a british fighter runs against a 7ft 2 guy he should of lost? ... even the editors at boxingscene kinda annoy me because there clear biasm is shown.
People also forget that Valuev is one of the most unskilled fighter to ever land a belt, he practically moves like a snail.
Size =/= skill, so size didn't mean sh!t.
yeah size usually doesnt, but when you are THAT big, it can. go learn something...

True I agree with that, but that goes to poor technique on the russians part, he cna;t transfer his body weight into a good punch while Haye could.
