was listening to tony paige on wfan and he said someone from HBO told him tonight is one of the best 24/7s since it has started.
wonder what has happened..
Where did you get your Kimmel quotes from? Did you watch a different version than the rest of the world? Just curious.
hahahahahahaha!!!! I noticed that too but its no big deal. Al Haymon is known for making shit up. I thought I was the only one that noticed that. Pamela Anderson said she had to go because of her kids. She was never asked if she wanted to meet Pacquiao. That exaggerating bitch will do anything. It is funny to watch his agony that he has to resort to what he does. He is a consummate loser.
Activity.
Clottey has been actively fighting top WW's. Floyd has not.

Eye,
If Pac and Floyd fought at 144-146, who do you have winning it?
That is pretty ridiculous man. Judging by your analogy of how p4p rankings should work, it's almost merely based off assumptions. Yea ok, so what if most people feel Mayweather can outclass Pacquiao? Pacquiao has accomplished much more in these previous 2 years (please don't bring in PPV sales either though because I'm talking real boxing accomplishments) than Mayweather, and also I always thought p4p literally meant champions who can win belts in other weight classes. I think Manny Pacquiao is literally proving he is p4p number one, especially considering he is fighting the likes of Cotto.

Floyd KO's Manny
I'm basing it off recent accomplishments and quality of opposition tho..
Why 4 instead of 3 though? What welterweight not named Cotto or Mosley is above Floyd? I don't see how Clottey or Berto's resume is better than Floyd's at 147. Also, we certainly cant count Williams there in the rankings. Just curious
I heard that Pac made another face at Freddie Roach.
I heard that Al Gaymon is terrified of Manny Pacquiao getting more attention than Floyd Mayweather, so what he does is try to shit on Manny as much as possible, claim he's taking steroids, and generally act like a little bitchass to try to sway people's opinions on boxing forums, and he does this by trolling.

I have Floyd ranked # 1 P4P, and #4 at welterweight.
Pacquiao has done better than Mayweather in the last couple of years..except for JMM...but with all fairness Pacquiao fought JMM at a much more comfortable weight than Mayweather did..I say #2 or #3 P4P is a lil less dick-ryderish and fair..
Mayweather at #4 WW is pretty fair..
Miguel Cotto said it. Which, with all due respect, weighs more heavily than if you or I said it.
Well what is Cotto suppose to say? Is he suppose to say no Judah was not a great opponent at all. I sould get no credit. Come on bro?
Floyd said JMM was great opponent but we know he really wasn't right?
I am pretty sure Pac said David Diaz is a great opponent. Do you believe that?
What are they suppose to say?
I would probably about agree with you Al. I'd put him behind Mosley and Cotto at 147 for sure. I'd rank Floyd ahead of Clottey and Berto though so I guess I'd say I have Floyd as the number three welterweight in the world on merit. That said, I have him as the #1 p4p which may not be a minority opinion but certainly different than a lot of people so it's not like a disrespect Floyd's ability. But, Shane and Cotto are fighters and Floyd is a businessman and a boxer. He deserves a lot of credit but not so much for his welterweight resume
Let's put it this way: Floyd can make any fight he wants. He took big name big payday fights that I didn't have a problem with. I had no issue with Oscar or Hatton for Floyd. I had a problem with Marquez. As for Manny, he moved up in weight to fight the same two guys so he should be applauded for both. The difference was that he went and got a Cotto while Floyd still wants the easiest money possible. Floyd has to fight a Mosley or Williams for me to acknowledge him as the best welterweight. He's the best p4P in the world but he has a TON to prove at 147 still
Sooo, if Judah wasn't a real welterweight, why was he a great opponent for Cotto? Why did Shane sign to fight him just last year?
Al have you ever heard me say Judah was a great opponent for Cotto? Quintana was a better opponent for Cotto, Mosley was a great opponent for Cotto, Clottey and Margarito was great opponents for Cotto. I have never said Judah was.
Mosley was coming off a loss. Was he not? I saw it more as a comeback fight. But, the difference is If the fight had taken place and Mosley had won. I wouldn't of make it seem like if it was a great win.
Judah is a great opponent for prospect. For example Berto. I think Judah is a great opponent for Berto, Bradley, Alvarez, Ortiz, Khan, Jones, Smith. I think he is a great opponent for comeback fighters like Hatton and JMM.
But, he was not a real WW. He could still make 140 comfortably can he not?
Judah was coming off a horrible loss to Baldomir so I think he was a questionable opponent. He was ok for Cotto because he was Cotto's first real fight at 147. As far as Shane goes, it had more to do with Shane being ducked by other guys at Welter until Margarito manned up
This 24/7 has been pretty unexciting compared to Mayweather/Marquez. I always love watching Pac, but it seem like even HBO considers Pacs story and victory a given, so we get to learn a lot about Cotto.
I wouldnt be surprised if this 24/7 actually hurts sales of the show....
Where the hell is the freakin' music at the end? They do mini music videos. Too bad Cotto barely allows HBO to record his training. That's why HBO has fallen back to using latin music while he goes about in slow motion.
