Do any real boxing fans think David Haye is a real underdog? People keep calling Haye an underdog and say the cards are stacked against but comeon, its Valuev. I'm not a fan of either, in fact I actually dislike both Haye and Valuev, but I fully expect Haye to win in a boring clinch filled fight by a wide margin.
I'm not always right but I picked Ruslan Chageav over Valuev with a good amount of certainty, I was the only one who did this too. I feel the same about this one.
I feel this fight has been hyped and Haye has a fantastic promoter in getting him out of Vitaly fight and making him a 'underdog' in this fight. By making him the underdog it makes Valuev appear as a impressive victory.
Thoughts?
Haye is the clear betting favourite. Valuev's only chance is he withstands the early pressure and wears out Haye, hopefully landing some shots and testing that brittle chin.
The British Media is just trying to give haye more credit when he gets a decision over Valuev.
Valuev will be a very good win for Haye. He weighs over 100 pounds more than Haye, is almost a foot taller, and is fighting on his home turf. Stop with the hate.
From the media reports, they kinda make him out to be an underdog.
But looking at the sports odds, he's nearly 3-1 favourite to win. So his actually the favourite to win.
I dont think he's that much of an underdog, the odds are stacked against him because those who dont watch boxing will be thinking 'hell Haye has no chance, this guy is what 7ft+ he's got no chance!' Haye is by far the superior boxer and can outbox Valuev if all goes to plan.
