I've never seen Freddy Roach talk so much trash. I'm beginning to think that he is actually nervous about the fight and is trying to make Cotto fight mad, sloppy and open so that Manny can win. I mean the amount of trash talking that is coming from him is on par with Mayweather Sr. if not more. you must've missed the dlh and hatton promotion

Or maybe he was just interviewed less. I know what your talking about. I think in DLH's case it worked. I think a fully rehydrated DLH would've been a much tougher opponent (not that he would've necessarily won but would've been more competitive at least). However, I think that his escalation of trash talking is him worrying about Cotto as a serious serious threat and is trying to make Cotto not fight like Cotto.
