Never heard him admit when he was living the bad life that he was actually taking drugs. Has he ever admitted this?
And i wonder what drugs he was taking?

He said it was a new experience for him to be in prison and "get all the reefer out of the system".
Not that I think weed is an especially big deal, but robbing people and getting stabbed is.

The guy grew up hard - what do you think? Regardless of that, it really doesn't matter, the guy is a great ambassador not only for boxing, but how sport can change a person's life, give them focus, and fill whatever void inside them is perhaps preventing them from being a good contribution to society. It doesn't matter what he did before he changed his life around. I'd let my son have a B-Hop poster on his wall. The man is a great role model and an example of doing what needs to be done if you're lucky enough to have a second chance at making it in life.
