November 4
At Jacksonville, N.C. (ESPN2): Jason Litzau vs. Johnnie Edwards, 10 rounds, junior lightweights; Frankie Figueroa vs. Rashad Holloway, 6 or 8 rounds, welterweights; Yaundale Evans vs. Dominic DeSanto, 4 rounds, junior lightweights
Step up fight for Holloway. Edwards should give Litzau a good fight if he can take the shots.
My stream just died a couple of minutes ago. What's happening in the fight?
Litzau bleeding from the nose and eye but is winning the fight. RD 7 and Edwards has been pushed/thrown to the ground like 4 times thus far, Litzau is tired too
Yup, what's crazy is that he was at one of amatuer events in like June, and they had an honors for him and when he was talking I couldn't tell of any speech impairment, but then again he was speaking through a microphone in which it probably muffled his voice.
And yup, that's Atmosphere. I'm pretty much a Minnesota everything kind of guy.
Atmosphere is sick!!
Litzau seems like something is wrong, he looked much better the last time I saw him.
Man, that suck seven worse. Some guys that you might watch personally and know and follow their careers, then a few years later they are standing by the ring watching others because of health problems. I hope it was just a thing, like maybe he did not get enough sleep last night or something.
By the way, is that Atmosphere in your avatar?

Most definitely. He keeps going on about "the taller man" staying on the outside - is that all he knows? We hear the same on every ESPN telecast. :(
It was absolutely true about this fight. Also two fights before that in the amateur bout where the taller fighter lost in a very close bout. If you didn't see this fight as Figueroa being the smaller man trying to get in and do work and Holloway needing to move and use his height then I'm not sure what you were watching. It's unfortunate that tall vs short may be a repetitve theme in boxing but it is a reality nonetheless, and an interesting one IMO. He's calling the fight, what the hell else is he supposed to talk about.
Yeah, especially when the Litzau's are very good friends of my gym.

It's pretty sad, these guys have some potential but after a short career, they are ruined for life.

I have Figuerao by two rounds, but wouldn't be surprised if it went either way. Must have been a tough fight to score, especially where the judges have to sit, their view would be terrible for this fight.
Yeah, him and his brother are pretty chinny, I wouldn't be surprised at their vulnerablility to the effects.

Wow, it's Pac's sparring partner Holloway vs Cotto's former sparring partner Figoreua.
Yeah. Don't like Hollaway has better skills, but his face and body language are not good. He doesn't look like he will be a serious contender at 147.

P4P the most talkative announcer on TV.
Litzau sounded like he did not know where he was

I'm a Gato fan, but man, does he smother his punches!
And is it just me, or does Jason Litzau kind of sound like he's on the verge of a Meldrick Taylor?
