So if he is wiling to comeback for 10m, how likely would it be that he'll fight the Super Six winner?
After all the promotion of the tournament, etc. there's going to be a huge amount of money around the winner. Would it be possible that sort of money could be offered to Calzaghe?
If it's Kessler who wins then that's more of a been there done that sort of thing, so I don't think it would happen then.
But if Froch wins (don't laugh) then that would be a natural fight, what with all the trash talk he's given. Or the clash of styles if someone like Abraham wins. I think that would produce a very memorable fight.
How likely is this?
I doubt it because Calzaghe would probably need a tune-up before fighting the winner of the Super 6 so it complicates matters. They would probably have to sign a contract for 2 fights for him to come back in the way you described.. tune up first then the Super 6 winner. I think it's unlikely but it'd be great if it happened.
serious dollars needs to be offered to entice Calzaghe back into the ring.
If the favourtie wins Super 6 then what happens? Calzaghe has already beat him once, he ain't coming out of retirement. His dad has already told him if he retires, he stays retired. If he decides to come back then he won't train him. That was a direct quote from Enzo on BBC not long before Calzaghe retired.
That's it guys, don't worry about discussing some potential epic match-ups in the division.
