Louis vs Schmeling II. The fight was during the second world war and it was basically a boxing match between the two sides of the war. this is the fight that i had in mind it was country vs country
yeah, very nice. little too old for me, i'd say mayweather vs de la hoya in recent times just because that was the highest boxing got in this decade.
lol....why not fraud and JMM
Ali and frazier- you know the reasons
Ali and Holmes- the end of a champ. holmes never got the respect he deserved. and after this fight almost everyone hated him because he beat Ali
would have to be ali-fraizer just because of all that ali had to put up with and go through, plus he was who boxing as big as it is today imo, he was the king of trash talking aswell

Yeah I agree recent times it's was Mayweather-De La Hoya fight. What about maybe also in recent times the Lewis-Tyson fight?
For me either "The Fight" between Frazier and Ali and/or the Thrilla in Manila fight. Both are significant for the time where there was racial hatred, the fact Ali was refused his license to box and how when he got it back.
The Thrilla in Manilla was not thought of at the time to be of much interest, it matched together 2 old `past it fighters`yet after the fight it was deamed a "Classic"
