Just 4 weeks after a nic KO1 of Sierra, Miranda is staying busy and is schedule to fight on Nov 21st in Oakland before the huge clash of Andre Ward and Mikkel Kessler.
I am hoping it is a decent opponent and Showtime will show it.
I noticed in his last fight more slipping/ducking punches than Id seen from him, he seems to be more defensive minded, which is a good thing.
It was a quick fight so it was hard to get a great look at what Joe has done with him. But no doubt he was moving much better, very good footwork, throwing combos and body punches and rolling with the punches. Much of what he needed to improve on.
I have heard from numerous people that workout with him in Goossen's gym that he looks like a completely different fighter. Joe has high hopes for him, he says he is the quickest learner he has ever had and has an athletic ability he had no idea existed. Miranda is 28 years old, so if Joe Goossen can make some drastic changes, he still has a chance to make it to the top.
Goossen has options on Miranda I think so he's making good use of him.
Goosse had a 1 fight deal after the Ward fight but is now working in partnership with Warriors. Dan Goossen was quoted as saying he loves what he sees in Pantera especially now that his brother Joe is working with him. Goossen/Tutor is hot right now and it is a win win for Miranda.
