It was blown out of proportion by the Cottards, I'm sticking to that. If it was a serious situation Margarito wouldn't have gotten no cheap ass 1 year ban, he would have been banned for life you idiots. If you knew anything he isn't automatically re-instated once the year is up ass. He has the ability to re-apply for it and they can deny him for another year if they please. Also he said he didn't know what was on his hands... its a lie, but they can't prove it so giving him an outright lifetime ban could have lead to a lawsuit. However, they can deny him ever getting his license back year after year until the end of time if they so please. I am a Cotto fan and could care less if he gets his license back or not. Without his bricks he ain't shit, he was getting completely outclassed until they hardened up. Then a 38 year old man lit his ass up, went to Roach in tears to train him and got turned down and down to making excuses for the Mosley loss. Saying the weight was too much for him, though he's also stated he'll come back at 147 for a few fights then go up to 154. Then he says "I'll give Cotto a rematch" as if he has any pull in that fight happening, or any fight for that matter.

We all back certain fighters, but why do people say that Cotto softened Margarito up for Shane when Cotto took more punishment against Mosley than Margarito did against Cotto? The thing that caused Margarito's down fall I think is the way he got big headed and didn't stay in shape for the fight with Shane. I still think Mosley would've beaten him regardless. But still.

I would love to do a "punch in the mouth test" on all those who defend Cheato. few people realize this... im not even a cotto fan ,i just saw the fight, thats all i did, when i saw the gfight live, i told everyone during the fight that both fighters may not be the same, look at this beautiful bloody battle, i rooted for marg but i knew cotto was doing damage on marg, marg would be underdog to cotto on a rematch in my eyes but mosley can never beat marg if it werent for cotto, mosley was barely able to beat a old mayorga for gods sake

I don't think Margarito will ever be the same after that beating he took from Shane Mosley, but I still think he'd easily handle Berto and maybe have a little bit more trouble with Collazo, but ultimately beat him. I take it you're joking. Margarito's uppercut had him in fits and bits, and Clottey's was snapping his head back constantly. As good as he is, he simply doesn't deal with pressure well. If I see him hopping on his bike against Pacquiao, my rooting for him will end very abruptly. He only has problems with pressure fighters that are bigger than him. He'll do and has done fine with guys his own size or slightly bigger. Even w/o plaster, margo had a good game plan and is quite a bit bigger than Cotto. Mosely exposed his glass jaw, and threw him all over the ring. by now I'm sure Cotto is aware of his weak defense re; uppercuts, and is working on it, preparing for his fight with Manny, though Manny isn't a heavy uppercut user, he does occasionally and pretty effectively. If Cotto fights margo again, I'm sure now that Cotto knows a lot about margos style, and will be much better prepared for it, working in a good uppercut defence. Plus his seething anger that will surface in the ring will give Cotto an adrenaline rush, that will keep him from gassing, knowing margo's gloves aren't loaded. And before anybody starts, i didn't say they were for his previous fight. Just that i definatly think they were. Boxers of Cotto's, Clottey's and Manny's caliber aren't afraid to fight anybody.

Cotto eats that punch for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and dessert. That's one of the reasons Margarito will always beat Cotto cut and dry. 100% pure speculation from an admitted Cotto hater. :Flush:

id only be scared of him possibly cheating/wearing illegal wraps again and permenantly injuring someone No way would any shady business be allowed to happen in the States . He's going to be under a microscope for the rest of his career, with every move he makes coming under meticulous scrutiny. And quite right, too. He should only be allowed to return on a 'probationary' period of some sort, to prove that he's clean.
