I always thought that when there is a championship fight, the champion's name is always first. So why isn't this fight called COTTO vs PACQUIAO? Even HBO is advertising it as PAC-COTTO but it doesn't make sense to me. Cotto is the champion, Pac is the challenger, Cotto gets listed first, Cotto comes into the ring last. Maybe I missed something at some point through the negotiations. Do you think this is yet another "iffy" thing that is happening to Cotto along with the already one-sided catch-weight, money split, and championship belt at stake (at a catch-weight)? Just curious...
i cant see why even if pac is the "main attraction" that he would be listed first. cotto is the champ at 147 which is the title theyre fighting for so pac is the challenger. COTTO VS PAC.
