Boxing is a competition. I would personally find it insulting to step in the ring with a cheater because I wouldn't respect them. I wouldn't want to give them another meal ticket, I wouldn't want to give them more exposure. People forget that Cotto is a profesional boxer. He'd have rematched Margarito before he found out he cheated because he'd want to overcome a hurdle in front of him. Now the motivation wouldn't be so much to prove himself but to embarrass and hurt Margarito which is probably petty to Cotto.

Margarito had Cotto's style figured out, and that's why Cotto was on the run in the last rounds. Not that he wasn't on the run at all times in the fight anyway. If it's true that Paul got lucky against Quintana, then why did Williams knock him out with a barrage of punches in the rematch and not a lucky punch like you guys claim that he did? Cotto got plasterize after that Margarito wanted to fight Mosley with Plasterhands. And to think he was willing to fight cotto again as soon as possible, but than uses plaster to fight Mosley. Margarito started saying that it wasn't plaster that it was just that he had tape put on directly onto his skin. figure that out. Paul Williams wasn't hurt by Quintana as seriously because Quintana beat him fair and square, but Quintana didn't really train for the rematch. He got lazy thinking of how much he was going to get paid, because they were messing with his head untill the very end. they made the rematch date, but wouldn't give him the money he was asking.
