I can see that. To be honest, I have Kessler, Abraham, and Ward as the top three in the Super Six.
i agree with that
i could even see abraham coming out with a full 9 points after the 3 rounds
I haven't seen that many fights by Abraham(maybe 5)but from what I see is hes always backing up his opponent. I think a stronger, bigger guy like Kessler is going to turn the tables on Arthur. Arthur has a very low punch rate and I highly doubt he can fight backing up(not sure because I've never seen it). I think Kessler and Ward are going to cause him a lot of trouble, kessler more so because of his size and Ward more so because of his boxing skills.
i agree i think kessler and ward are his toughest tests
kessler may well have a little bit too much for him but its very hard too tell
ward and dirrell included will certainly outwork him and make him miss a lot,if he beats either of them it will be his power bailing him out imo

Well, Steve Bunce would have you believe that you need to do more than just outpoint the champ. You have to 'take the title'.
flat out bias
the commentary on primetime was awful aswell-jon thaxton for fuuks sake!
Honestly, I felt that he dipped a little. I expected him to get Taylor out in like 6 or 7 round tbh. I really felt after seeing him Saturday that he can be bullied around by Kessler or even Ward for that matter. I know this will sound crazy as well but I really wasn't that amazed by the power, I always felt he was more powerful but now I'm not so sure on that. Don't get me wrong he is still a very good fighter but after Saturday I really don't see him winning the tourney.
he dipped? now that does surprise me
i think the fact that he is very hard too hurt and carries dynamite in both hands makes its tough too rule him out of any fight
although i could see him getting outpointed, due too his reliance on said power and often being over-patient
yi thought he executed the perfect gameplan and fought the most effective way too win,but apparently making a guy miss all night doesnt constitute 'beating the champ'

he went up for me. taylor may have been koed a few times, but aa still got a big ko against a very good fighter. aa has earned my respect, and is a very good fighter.
To be honest, I didn't mind the fight at all, except the parts when it became sloppy in rounds 6-9. The kid has rediculous hand speed.
People are complaining about Dirrell's style, well sorry, the kid said he wasn't gonna 'fight', and if you didn't know how Dirrell was gonna fight, then you didn't do your homework on him.
He'll probably be more aggressive against Abraham and he's got the lateral movement to trouble him, but I'm not sure about his mental toughness.
Plus, the gap between Froch and Abraham is like night and day.
ye abraham does everything better than froch too be honest
dirrell said pre-fight that the way too beat froch is 2 not stand in front of him-and thats what he did, kept moving-i thought he executed the perfect gameplan and fought the most effective way too win,but apparently making a guy miss all night doesnt constitute 'beating the champ'
he is frustrating 2 watch at times because he steps off when he could really go for it
he can get outworked but hes hard 2 hurt and carries that brutal power and if can take you out at any point,im glad hes in the tourney
Yeah , he can sometimes get too content with keeping his guard up whilst looking for the one big punch to finish the fight ( which usually comes anyway!) . If he upped his workrate he could become even more dangerous. As of now i think a slick , fast boxer who goes to the body can beat him.
ye definitly his awareness of his power and reliance on it could be his downfall
i think he will beat dirrell in the next round though, although andre did very well against froch he is facing a different kind of beast is AA and could well get KO'd badly,i hope not though-dirrell gained a new fan on saturday night

after saturday night,or did he simply do what was expected?
Yes and no. I want to give him loads of credit for a sweet KO but I feel Taylor has faded pretty badly over the last couple of years since the first Pavlik fight, so that's hard to do. I'll look forward to seeing more of Abe though, looks like he could be a beast at 168.

Yeah he does sometimes. I think he sometimes he has too much faith in his power, but I feel that soon it may not be there, and that he'll get outpointed for giving away too many early rounds.

Yeah he did. I picked Taylor to win a close decision. I hadn't seen anything from AA in his past fights that made me think he would beat Taylor. He proved me wrong and I now respect him as an elite level fighter.

I thought he was underrated going into the fight, and I wanted to see how the weight affected his quickness. While he's never going to be lightning quick, I thought he looked as quick, if not quicker than when he was making 160 comfortably.
Yes, he knocked Taylor the fukk out whose been iced twice in his last three fights, but the bomb came out of know where and landed right on the button.
I think he went up. Still, I think he may get outpointed along the way.
