VIDEO: why Dirrell blew it

it don't matter that dirrell ran and held... froch still lost to a green prospect.

Dirrell ran and clinched and was still able to land way more than Froch and was busier in most of the rounds.

Yes he ran, yes he clinched, yes he deserved to lose a point, but he still won the fight in my opinion and it was a wide win for me too.

hatton clinched loads against tszyu but he still won, dirrell won this fight easily eve though he got the point deducted rightfully, froch wasnt even hitting him. dirrell is to quick for someone that wild to hit How many more punches would Froch have landed if Dirrell didn't hold everytime he got close?

Sorry but Dirrell stating he had no idea why he was docked a point is a joke. He has ability but from ringside the judges tired of his tedious holding and grappling and gave the rounds to Froch. they never got tired of froch the crotch's rabbit punching though...

Dirrell won this fight I was bitching about his holding but he did not start holding till the mid level of the fight. I am fine with the point deduction because dirrell stood his ground and threw more punches when they were close instead of holding after the point deduction. Forcing him to fight more and win those late rounds. I still had dirrell winning the fight but I can not stand holding. you can run or move side to side all you want because it is the sweet science but as soon as a fighter closes the distance on you your going to hold? there is nothing sweet about that and it is illegal. I wish more refs would enforce it.

Now find the video that counts Froch's rabbit punches. Or just a video of the ref signaling a warning to Froch for doing it....over and over and over again. that was his own fault for putting his head down too low or turning his back on him.

I used to like Froch but when he said that he won from round 1-12, i nearly fell of my chair!! Dude must be smoking crack imo

He was really annoying me with the clinching. The way he talked before the fight youd expect more than that. Everyone seems to have a different opinion on who won. But the only 2 people who genuinly know are either Froch and Dirrell. Dirrell is quiet because he knows he didnt do enough to beat Froch in his backyard. He did enough clinching, but that is all that he done a lot of.

No. Those areas are not in the scoring area. The side of the head is. Froch only punched the side of Dirrell's head when Dirrell was holding - which is 100% fair game. Well, after all that holding, no one should bitch about the ref taking the point. He should have done it sooner. Exactly. The end of round 8 would have been appropraite. Round 6-8 were disgraceful with the amount of holding going on. ALSO. LMFAO AT THE RABBIT PUNCHES COMMENT. So Dirrell comes and holds on Froch, all the while Froch is doing anything he can to land shots. Also, when Dirrell ducks down very low with his head down and you expect Froch not to unleash bombs? You duck down and face away = you get hit. he only held from round 7-9(i think cant remember that well) from round 1-5 no holding AT ALL from round 9-12 no holding AT ALL base your biased ass decision because he held for 3 rounds of clinching, and he won those rounds You are right. I am barely in the top of the 6th and I am already going on over 4 minutes of production, that is a lot of footage, I might have to make a two part clip, who the hell wants to see a ten minute clip of Dirrell running?
