50k per fight is not bad. As much as I see him... I say at 20 fights per year, he is at a million dollars for the year. Only working 20 days a year and still pulling a mill isn't too bad. add to that 1st class flights, 5 star hotels and expensives paid for him, and one of the best seats in the house at every major boxing event. How do u go about getting that job?

I was actually just talking about this with my friend the other day. Best job on earth. Anyone have any guesstimates as to what kinda $ he makes? You think it's a set fee or you think the bigger the fight the more money he makes. not just the money...the perks alone could make that job worth while. He gets to travel all around the world, stay at the best spots, and pretty much everything is payed for. Its like someone paying for your whole vacation trip and on top of that you get a nice check for pre/post fight announcements. I say this because I know NBA refs get payed 300-500k a year to ref games. On top of that, they stay and eat at every city they visit for free and get a nice spending allowance for the time in each place they stop. I know for a fact it is the same with buffer.

I agree, it'd be a pretty good job, but you've got to take good care of your voice especially at his age to keep it fit for that sort of work, so I guess he can't go out partying the night before an event. Furthermore, he has to remain unbiased at ringside. He wouldn't get much work if he was hollering from ringside for one guy to win.
