lol i think you're right damn it but that fight shouldn't really be used to compare the situation juanma was in IMO, since it lass less thank half of juanma's fight and stamina wasn't a problem in that case I thiink the Torres fight was used as an example of Cotto's heart. We all know Juanma is still a puppy with much to learn.

They like Juanma better has a fighter, because nobody belives in Cotto anymore, he is money hungry he suppose to be a boxer not a warrior he changed his style, and everybody noticed. How did he change his style? Clearly there's a difference from a Corley/Pinto/sosa/maussa to a Mosley/Clottey/Margarito/Judah. You can't exactly just walk over those guys

what about the torres fight? he stood toe to toe with a slugger and both got hit and hurt badly. in the margo fight, he was on survival mode I think your both making the same arguement .

cotto would never have been in that position against a fighter like mtagwa cotto is the better more accomplished fighter and we all know that there is a good chance cotto was facing more then just margs gloves

Why even make this thread when the answer is obvious. Cotto gave in obviously, and he's moved on. Don't forget about the torres fight either. Everyone acts like that never happened all of a sudden.

Puerto Rico shows Juanma love for the way he said no to Mtagwa in the 12 round of their fight last saturday..Its clear that Puerto Rico loves fighters that are willing to die in the ring before quitting..So if you had to judge Juanma's round 12 against Mtagwa vs Cotto's round 11 against Margarito,who showed more of a fighter's heart..Juanma or Cotto In these particular fights in which you question both Juanma & Cotto"s heart can not be measured by these fights and these fights alone. Cotto's resume provides us with the answer. As far as Juanma the jury is still out. Until he steps up and faces world class competition can we truly measure his heart. I personaly think he will prove he has a massive heart. Till then lets not question Cotto's because an opponent decided to go dirty against him. Only time will tell!!!

I hate these topics. Only you, who's in the ring know what you have left in the tank, so if Cotto took a knee it's because he had nothing left and was about to go down bad. What's better? To fight another day or get crippled trying to be machoman on the ring?
