This thread is for all the AA haters who have been criticizing him from day one and callig him a bum who hasn't fought anyone. I think this word is being used to loosely. Who is there in the middleweight/super middleweight division that AA needs to beat to prove he's not a "BUM". It seems like whoever he beats you will still criticize him. The top names in the supermiddleweight division are mostly featured in the tournament:
1. Andree Dirrell
2. Carl Froch
3. Andre Ward
4. Mikkel Kessler
5. Jermain Taylor
These are the "elite" fighters you guys keep on mentioning. If he wins the tournament are you guys going to give him respect or will you still say he's a "bum"?
I'm not a hater, but he's doesn't really box when he's in the ring.
He just throws a few punches and lets ya have fun till he wants to decapitate you.
I mean what the **** is under his gloves, concrete?
I haven't seen any Abraham "haters" since I've been on this board.
A few people aren't too keen on his offensive and defensive skillset, as they prefer much slicker technicians....but on the whole, I think pretty much everybody respect "King" Arthur's tenacity and grit.
I know I do.
I didn't think he was a bum and I certainly wasn't a hater. But he surprised me against Taylor and I have a new found respect for him.
Co-sign here,I've got a new found respect as well!!

I dont see anyone hating him, before the fight many people though Taylor would outbox him and they questioned his skills but now I think they can see theyv been proven wrong.
I wasn't too impressed and I'm not a fan of his style. At one point, someone will take advantage of his low output/ not being able to mix his defense with offense.
I see your point but I think it is all strategy. He sets, and watches the opponent's style and weaknesses while allowing them to tire out on their own. He does the same thing in every fight yet gets the same result. I feel he knows what he is doing and it is intentional. He reserves his power for the later rds with this seemingly absurd strategy as well. You may be right tho and some one may expose him but I think he is very smart and knows what he is doing.
I don't think you can criticize Abraham for his resume, as he tried to get fights with Sturm and Pavlik.
His style is unique and will make him very hard to beat.
I love what Abraham has done. He's a great boxer. Great power, great heart, granite chin, and great defense. Honestly, I think if someone mad him fight like really brought the fight to him, he would fight back. We didn't see much offense last night because I didn't think Tayler brought too much on the table so he took it easy and took his time. He's also a great guy, doesn't talk shit and respects his opponents. Abraham is going to be huge, trust me.

I highly respect the king..He proved himself to me against Mirdanda fighting with his jaw as a piece of meat..That takes a fukin pair...And the guy is a class act.. He made a fan out of me last nite with his performance against the bigger faster man in taylor. Cant wait to see him against Dirrell
