It's like that on ESB too. Of course on FB hardly anyone cares. I never really paid much notice or cared that American presence in the HW division was so weak until people on forums and the media kept talking about it. LOL. It's like stepping outside your house one day and realizing there's a war going on. What irks me is that I can't figure out whether some of these nincompoops are aliases or if they're really idiots who feel this way.

I find it all a bit sad really. In reality the US and UK have more in common than differences so I don't understand the rivalry. I'm a boxing fan so I don't care where a fighter is from. In truth, I think the decline in US boxing hurts everyone that loves the sport.

Looking at the comments on this thread, it's clear that many haven't done much travelling. In order to have a constructive and meaningful opinion on other countries and people you have to see for yourself personally with your own eyes what other cultures are like. If anyone sees it just to judge a whole nation or continent of people by what they see on an internet forum or television shows, etc...then they will have nothing but a distorted and unrealistic view, be it for better or for worse.

Actually, in many cases it can be a major benefit to have a smaller sized country and still remain "first world" to enable it to be so strong...as well as allying itself with many countries, specifically the USA. USA does many things to stay strong as well and seems to have a good relationship with G.B. which helps. Cooperation can be a good thing.

Damn...we still talking about all this. Europe and USA have some positive and negative things about it...it's all human...so it would be good for everybody to just open up, travel, experience, and live life to the fullest. All this competition is part of nature but it can get tiresome. I take what I like from all societies around the World because I understand I'm only going to live once so f*** it with the b.s. "we are better than you and don't need anything from you." I watch both brands of Football; I like Food and Women from different cultures as well, Art, Music, Entertainment in general, Technology, Philosophy/way of life, etc. You like only one thing and chances are you will have a smaller World open to you but if you open up, the World can be Grand...although you may also find out how ****ed up it is as well on a bigger level if you have been sheltered from it...but, **** it..Live life to the fullest.
