He would've demolished everyone except Abraham. Actually, they should've had this tournament in the '90s - Benn, Eubank, McClellan, Toney, Jones and Collins. Fucking hell, that would've been the sheeeeeeeeezy!
I doubt that, I don't think you believe that either.
My thoughts exactly. The version of G-Man that trained outta Kronk was a much better fighter than the one who fell in love w/ his power after the first JJ knockout. The latter was the version that eventually moved up to SMW; it's not like he was ever going to magically morph back into prime form.
Honestly you could put McClelland, Benn, Eubank, Collins, or Graham in this field and any of them would pitch a shutout. The guys currently in the Super 6 just aren't that good. It's scary what Roy Jones would have done against these guys!Imagine all the above in a tournament...now that would be worth ever bit of ppv :boxing:

PoetAgreed matie:boxing:
he would beat all of them.
he would knock froch, taylor and dirrell out, dont think it need to explain why.
he would annhilate kessler. kessler isnt anything special, gerald was better at everything and would stop kessler with no problems in the early rounds. brutal KO, or possibly murder for the G-Man.
he would stop abraham too. arthur is open to be hit to the body if u have good timing, but it takes a skilled body puncher to do it. gerald was very skilled at bringing up his oponents hands and digging to the liver, hiding his intentions. with his fast hands, accuracy and deadly power arthur wouldnt be able to just block geralds shots. mcclellan knocks him out too.
ward is the only guy i would give any chance at all, he could outbox gerald. but i dont think he would. at some point he would get chinned.
i cant believe the disrespect some people are showing towards the G-man in this thread ... :davil2:
i know right people forget what a beast he was a great fighter no one knows how good he could have been either at the end of the day he suffered a horrific accident giving his all inside a boxing ring to entertain. people will do well to remember that
and on a side note no one in the super 6 is that great as i said kessler is the pic of a bad bunch
Don't know tbh hard to say but think he'd give them all a good go.If it was a few year later and Darren Sutherland was still around he'd probably be up there as well.Olympic bronze the same as Dirrell.
Here's a we article from Sutherland's boxingnews 60 second interview
Best fight you've seen .Benn McCllelland .It was sad what happened afterwards but it was a fight that roused the emotions .
He'd beat Taylor just by giving him the runaround in his wheelchair for 11 rounds. In the twelfth he'd probably score the knockout though by running over Taylors foot with his wheelchair. That'd be enough to finish him.
I think Kessler and Froch would probably beat him mind, but not by knockout, I mean McClellan would never hit the canvas, he'd just kind of slump in his chair a bit, and the wheelchair would never topple over cause it's a sturdy sort.
Also, how would you tell the lad had been knocked unconscious. The lads proper tarded and his eyes are always shut anyway apparently cause he's as blind as a bat, plus if he was unconscious and started fitting that'd just be normal for him, right?
I think he could get a split decision over Dirrell.
:haha:
You've made me night, babes!

Kessler and Abraham would beat him IMO, I think hed have more trouble with Abraham than Kessler (even thought i think Kessler is the better fighter and would beat Abraham if/when they face each other in the tourny)
Abraham has an almost unbreakable guard and McCllelan took punches, taking too many punches against Abraham no matter how good your chin is would be a bad idea.
