The whole lot of you people who think he won don't know fvck all about boxing. You are all preaching and moaning on here but at the end of the day you're all deluded, judging this fight on your own interpretations of the rules rather than the real fvcking rules. The whole lot of you should just go away like, stop posting. Boxing doesn't need you. Boxing Scene doesn't need you.
I am tired of coming on here after a big night of boxing to see the usual suspects acting as if someone has been murdered because there was a close fight. It's the same people every time, if there's a close fight they cry bloody murder and push the losing guys case for victory. I dunno if it's just a coincidence that 90% of these kinda posters are American or what.
Maybe you guys doing this just wanna appear to be coming from a different angle that is fresher than the rest of us or whatever, or maybe you have some odd little boxing forum gimmick on which dictates that you have to act this way when the result doesn't go the way you wanted it to, but c'mon seriously... this forum, and boxing in general would be alot better if every one of you just changed your passwords to "jdnhjfvbhgdsknchd88rye9gufhv" and never came back.
To quote from Floyd Mayweather, you bunch of peeps moaning just to create drama here "don't know shit about boxing". You guys are just getting in the way. That's all. Creating hassle for the true knowledgble fans. And I ain't talking people with low post counts. This is like a large section of people including a few who have about 20,000 posts in less than a year etc, people who's lives clearly wouldn't be worth living if they didn't have this place. It's ironic that no-one here gives a fvck what they say, and half the time it's just the same old regurgitated drivel.
Congratulations to Carlos Frochos on a good nights work. He got the nod from the people that matter and that's all that counts. Tought fight ahead again Mikkel Kessler.
I was disappointed although not entirely suprised with the decision and I wasn't rooting for either fighter to win. Froch was very lucky to get away with the decision, make no mistake.
I had Dirrell up by 2 rounds at the end, that included scoring the first round 10-10.
Dirrell knew that 'technically' he had done enough for the win, but also knew that convincing the judges the same would be tough. Hence his concern prior to the announcement.
The words of Dirrell's corner at the start of the 12th were all too prophetic: "you gotta stop him, they ain't gonna give you the decision here".
That's just boxing I hear you say. Yeah, but it still sucks.
Anyone with half a brain cell can see that my Froch avatar and sig is very much tongue in cheek you fvcking invalid.
"If anyone deserved the nod it should have been Dirrell"? wtf sort of bullshit line is that?
It means that given the relatively close fight to score Dirrell should have gotten the round up on Froch for a slightly better performance. I don't think it was a blatant robbery, but I certainly had Dirrell winning.
the only reason dirrell did that was because him and his team knewit be hard to get a decision in a biased ass place like britain(if you'd watched the fight you would've known that when it was said in dirrells corner)
I did watch it. That's BS.
This thread failed.
Why? Because the thread starter is an uber fan.
Also might I add.. Direll, running or not.. Whatever you call it... He landed by far the cleaner effective blows.
I don't know what fight you were watching, but if anyone deserved the knod, it should've been Direll. Froch was missing and throwing wide shots all night.

Well I know you typed it. Writing "say" on the internet is pretty well accepted.
Did you think I thought you were saying it out loud as you typed it??
Whuttt?!
Mate your pickling me head
:?!:
It was of of the least aesthetically-pleasing fights I've seen in a while. On a par with Zaghe-Hopkins.
I need to see Kessler-Ward now!!

I had Froch up a round but thought the judges would be split........
Which they were.....
Oh and I typed spilt not split if you REALLY want get anal mate.

Damn you guys had to pay? That sucks, I thought UK guys get all PPVs free.
Yea thing is too, my channel showed a blue screen for the first 3 hours lol and as yet when I get through to the people who I was told to ring they just ramble on about how it's my fault because the signals weren't working or something, and one of the cvnts even tried to say I had cancelled the order a couple of hours before the German fights. Jeez.
Also, we paid £14.95, but it hasn't been made clear if that is a subscription fee or if this is just a one off deal and we have to pay again when the next round of the series arrives etc. British boxing coverage is not a pretty sight in the wake of Setanta collapsing, and it's only gonna get worse with ITV pulling the plug at the end of the year. Gutted.
He got his dog and his wife to score it too, haha. They came up with a split decision, the dog gave it to Dirrell by white wash. Not forgetting to mention, dog is an American pitbull.
And yea, Brits paid £14.95 for these fights, and me personally I didn't even get to see the first fight of the Series. Cheap, amateurish ppv channel viewing it was.Agreed and i think they billed me twice :thumbsdow
There will always be different opinions on an SD. I'd ask all those screaming 'robbery', though, to do one thing.. watch what happened after the fight when Dirrell and Froch were sitting together. They both knew it was close, and neither knew if they had won or lost.
End of.
You paid?
Also: how can you have it a split decision for someone? That makes no sense.

i am from the UK and i didnt want Dirrel to win but i thought Dirrel won that fight....but then he was very negative at times....and if your gonna win a world title you've got to win it big....he was trying to steal it at times...he said he didn't know why the ref took a point but he was like a sailor holding on to a mast at times....you cant win a title like in the eyes of judges!
That being said IMO Dirrel won that fight:thumbsdow
He's right though, you can't go to the champions town and try to steal a victory running and being generally negative. I paid to see a fight not some whining man-child complain when it got rough. Its a fight mate not a tickling competition. It was a close fight nontheless but I had a spilt decision for Froch. Roll on Kessler!

He also gave the first 2 rounds to Dirrell, the challenger in the champions own backyard when absolutely nothing happened other than Froch tried to chase him down and both fighters landed about 10-15 meaningless punches. I stopped taking the guy serious here.
He probably has a better score than you do though..
