The man clearly has a puncher's chance against anyone, but can a puncher's chance carry him through five straight fights? He's strong and tough, but, in terms of boxing ability, he is only marginally better than Carl Froch. I cannot see this man beating Mikkel Kessler or Andre Ward. Despite several flaws and focus issues, I'd put him as and underdog against Dirrell as well.
I have no idea how anyone had it even specially with the point deduction..
He might have trouble with Kessler no one else
Didn't see any punch stats, but I'd surprised to find that AA landed more than JT. I see AA having big trouble with both Kessler and Ward. If Dirrell works on some things, maybe gets rid of grandpa as his trainer, he could threaten AA as well IMHO.
He boxed more effectively than Taylor didnt need the KO. Nice jab and combinations. Needs to be more active.
I had it even going into the last round. I'm not a JT fanboy either. I'm not suggesting that AA is not a solid fighter, but he's not close to being my favorite to win it all. I think he is quite average in pretty much every aspect except for punching power and toughness. His defense is average. Someone who presents him with angles will open him up easily. His feet seem painfully slow and his handspeed is only average among the Super Six.
