How in any way, can you tell me that someone who fought extremely scared early in the fight, complaining to the referee every time Froch would get close, was barley throwing any punches, (and didn't start landing anything significant until after Froch was hurt) beat someone who was trying to press the fight and make it exciting? I give Direll credit for putting up a fight late and coming to Dirrell's home town, though IMO he lost.
This isn't a hate thread, and i think Andre will become a better fighter after this, but he was clearly out worked.

Froch didn't land anything on the front of dirrell's head. All behind the head, and no points were taken from him. Dirrell out boxed him early, then pounded him to death for the last 3 rounds. Froch got a home town decision bottom line. Froch proved he isn't shit, and Dirrell is the real deal.
I thought Dirrell had won the fight...but the way he fought(hugging, running, looking sloppy at times like falling) I had a feeling he wasn't gonna get the decision...
It wasn't drastically one sided so I had the feeling he wouldn't get the decision in Froch's town...as soon as I heard split decision, I knew it...
I thought he won, 115-112.
But when I heard 'split decision', I knew what would happen....

This is exactly how I feel.
Dirrell should have won a close fight, but I knew what the decision would be as soon as the final bell rang. You can't win in another country when you leave so many rounds up for grabs. The judges know who is paying them. You think those two European clowns are going to get hired to fly across the Atlantic and judge a fight in the USA?

do you need a prescription filled for some glasses or something? Dirrell was outlanding Froch clearly, Froch barely landed anything the whole fight. Dirrell got the first 5 in my book and a couple others here and there but, I had it 8-4 for Dirrell.
I think Dirrell landed more punches, though not ''ridiculously more''. Fighters do not always win fights by landing more shots. If you pitty patted me with 4 shots then ran around the ring, and i cornered you and landed a right hand that was more significant than any of that, which was more effective?
Huh?
Did you watch the same fight as everyone else?
Only one fighter was hurt during the bout. I'll give you a hint, since you don't seem to have been paying too much attention to the fight...
It wasn't Dirrell.
Dirrell not only landed more punches, he also landed just about every significant punch of the fight. Unless you count the illegal ones :)
Both guys looked like crap, but Dirrell at least showed flashes. Froch was just terrible.

When Dirrell DID land, are you saying that they were pitty pats? Cuz what I saw were hard straight punches down the guard of Froch. He never threw shoe shine punches. They were stopping Froch from advancing quite a few times.

I think that Dirrell did enough but I'm glad he lost, I'd rather see Froch advance, Dirrell made Froch look slower than he is but Dirrell did alot of cute stuff that I don't really like to see, I give him more respect now but I don't like his style of fighting. Holding, smirking at his opponent, he showed some heart though.
Dirrell was brilliant.
He did what he had to do to win and he did.
I'm a fan now - tonight he showed ..
- the better boxing skill
- the better ring awareness
- the more punch output
- the better punching ability
- dodging ability
- counter punching ability
- slickness
- better strength then i thought he had
- post fight (opponent respect)
etc, you name it
what did froch do?
best thing he said was that he was "going to train" - that's a comment only champions make
Lol, what can you expect this is coming from a Hopkins fan.
I obviously don't have the stats, but please answer this: Do you think that Froch landed anywhere near the same amount as Dirrell?

:bottle::bottle::bottle:
What's the matter did you get some sand in your vagina?
Dirrell lost, just get over it. You should call him, I'm sure he'll be more than happy to hold you and you both can cry together.
LOL.... are you still here muthafuker? there's no PRican boxers involved in these threads!
lol... fukk you dude...
I went against JT in the AA fight! I didn't like the PBF/JMM match up... go suck a big black dick! I don't dick right black boxers like you dick ride PR boxers.
go back to PR boxing threads where you belong ass-wipe!!!!

There have been more hometown decisions in boxing then i've had hot dinners!
That is indeed true, it is what it is.
I am happy with Dirrell, to me he proved himself. He can be a very negative fighter (although I think some are overblowing it atleast in realation to this fight) but he will be a very hard man to beat for a long time and he could actually get better since he was pretty green (and I would say naive) in this fight.
Care to share that ''ridiculous amount'' higher? What was the punch stats?

You suck at insulting people you sound like a bitter bitch crying over getting slapped.
Lol, at this shit coming from an idiot who only cares about black fighters
Look dipshit I've been watching boxing for over 20 years. Just because I'm lucky to be from the P4P boxing capital of the world doesn't mean I only watch puertorican fighters. I'm a big fan of boxing and specially this tournament. After the great fight we had between AA and JT, in comes this idiot named Dirrel to ruin what would have been a great fight.
If that's his style then no wonder why he lost.
By the way retard Cotto landed more punches on Plasterboy that this idiot would've landed on Froch if he had fought him twice.
lol... fukk you dude...

Dirrell landed a ridiculously higher amount than Froch. So let's not act like running is all he did.

I also think you didn't read anything i said. Earlier in this thread, i stated everything that most likely convinced the judges that Froch had won, and i never said he was just ''trying''. :ugh:
muthafukker! I told you bitches that AA would beat JT!
I also told you bitches that Dirrell would get robbed in the UK!!
you dont' konw shit... you just watch PR boxing and everything you do and say revolves around PR boxing... just stop coming to these threads and stay in your territory which is everything related to PR boxing.
he runs and holds because that's his style... but that doesn't mean he didn't land the cleaner more effective punches...
its the same think cotto did to margo... he ran and ran and ran like his life depended on it but you won't even admit that you psycho bittch.
You suck at insulting people you sound like a bitter bitch crying over getting slapped.

"Trying" doesn't mean shit in boxing. Froch should have "tried" to land a damn combination. He should have "tried" to land more than 8 punches a round. When in the fukk did somebody "trying to make it exciting" give him the benefit of the doubt? We should give the nod to every fighter who comes forward and misses? Are you crazy? When the fuck did excitement become the factor for who won? Should Gatti be undefeated?
Dirrell landed a ridiculously higher amount than Froch. So let's not act like running is all he did.
