This is in Germany, Taylor CAN'T win a decision.
I disagree. I believe a robbery would seriously hurt the credibility of this tournament, or at least the people at Showtime see it this way.
Having said that, I do believe this will be a hard fight to score.
JT is gonna have to work that jab to keep AA at bay. He also needs to drop that right hand in on him while hes covered up in that turtle shell he likes to use. Its gonna be close..but JT has to pace himself and box effectively. Also, were gonna act like AA has taken a punch from someone at 168..Taylor isnt feather fisted by any means. Should be interesting how it plays out. That said JT UD....hopefully no German robbery.
AA is very slow to warm up. If Tayler gives a lot of pressure in the early rounds, he has very good chances to win, I'd say. The first rounds are Taylor's
AA's best weapon is his KD-power, but Tayler is battle-hardened. He could take some rounds of heat without going down. But I don't know if his defense is good enough to last many rounds of AA's bombs.
I am looking forward!
Taylors power is so underrated
Pavlik got floored, who took a battering from Hopkins without going down
Froch has hell of a chin and went down
I got Taylor in this, but I can see Abraham going all out for the KO late on so he's gonna need to be careful...
THANK YOU! Taylor has power and is dangerous at all times (except late!) lol His only problem with his right is, as we all know, it looks like a bow and arrow! As soon as he jabs his right is about a foot away from the side of his head. Slick counter-punchers won't fall for that shit.
didn't you already make a thread about Taylor beating Abraham
Yes I did. And as far as I know there is no law prohibiting multiple posts. I merely provided someone else's insight that just so happened to coincide with what I was thinking. Thank you for pointing that out.
My thoughts exactly!!
yes to all points I am picking JT by KO or TKO. Too much speed, power, experience and athleticism early. If he works behind his jab he stops or simply beats down Abraham who has never fought anyone as talented as Jermain. Froch has one hell of a chin and even he was put on his ass by Taylor at 168. Abraham should have fought a guy at 68 to acclimate and see how his body felt in the later rounds.
Anyone really think there is a 'we' in gambler's advisory as he always mentions lol
I mean it's always just him in his living room. Not sure I can picture him getting a committee together to come up with the conclusions. Regardless, he's pretty good at what he does.
My thoughts exactly!!
I been thinking the exact same thing. I mentioned it on another forum. I am picking Taylor to beat AA. However, I still think the way this tournament point system is set up. And, by the other fighters they will face. Abraham will be in the final against Kessler. But, for this one fight I like Taylor.
