Would Arreola beat Wladimir Klitschko ?
I think he would give Wlad a helluva fight, Wlad is a different animal to Vitali, he is not as effective on the backfoot and actually has bad balance when backed up, he does not have as good of a chin, he cant fight inside, he has stamina issues when forced to fight at a pace imo, his heart can be questioned.
Is Arreola anymore crude/unskilled as Sam Peter ? we saw how his fight with Wlad went.
In some ways I think it would come down to how quickly Wlad got Arreola's attention. Once Vitali got Chris' attention, the fight changed a lot - pressure still, but a lot less throwing from Chris. Wlad, should he land a big right fairly quickly, would probably shut Chris down even farther and commence to lay a beating on him. There's nothing more fearsome than a fully leveraged right from Wlad, and from a distance he can certainly land it.
On the other hand, if Chris could get Wlad's attention quickly with a bomb in the first round, we might see just the opposite.
Given the skillsets, it's more likely to be Wlad getting the big hit in first, so I'd lean towards Wlad. But I readily admit that I'd be freaking out while watching it. Wlad's my favorite fighter, BTW.
Wlad is more effctive than Vitali, how? his Arsenal consists of a 1 2 and a jab, Vitali goes to the body, uses uppercuts, is a better counter puncher on the backfoot.
Wlad doesn't use any side to side movement, what fight are you referring to? all i ever see Wlad does is command centre ring a throw the jab and the 1 2,
come on dude. it should be obvious to you that wlad is the better puncher. he gets full leverage on his shots and has more speed and snap. vitali mostly arm punches. vitali has the better chin but wlad is clearly the better offensive fighter

wlad was still mentally fragile back then. I think he's improved mentally since the peter fight and I also think peter is much stronger physically than arreola
I actually think wlad would have knocked him out. chris was way too open and wlad is a much sharper puncher than his big bro
Not when going backwards though.

if he could get inside wlads jab often he would beat him, without that he is an average fighter and i think arreola could cause him problems in that way
For Wlad it'd be a repeat of the second Byrd fight, and most likely not a war like that of the Peter fight. Brutal KO victory inside of 9 if he's in a hurry, or late stoppage in 11 if he wants to put on a show for the loyal fans who come to see him in droves.
He forgot to say "FUCKKK!!!" about 5 times. :lol1:
Wlad's jab may be better that Vitali's but look at the punishment Chris did take without going down. 301 hits in 10 rounds. Not from a welterweight, but from Dr. Ironfist.
Yes, Wlad could have dropped Chris. But not in 4 rounds. Wlad would have needed to accrue MASSIVE damage to shake Arreola. 8 rounds or more.
I NEVER expected Arreola to survive ten rounds. Not with his big "hit me" sign on his forehead, against one of the biggest KOers of this decade.
Had Chris some speed, skill, and discipline to stay keen, he might even have a chance - next time.
I didn't expect it to go 10 either. I figured 5 to 7 for the stoppage, and was actually a little surprised the ref stopped it after 10, considering Chris was still trying to find a way in (and MAY HAVE, in the last 2..you never know, and I'm very torn over the stoppage).
However (and I said this in another post), WLAD HITS MUCH HARDER than his brother. Every punch thrown by Vitali is heavy, and they take their toll much more so than any ordinary heavyweight, but Wlad has monstrous 1 punch KO power. It's easily on par with Foreman and Shavers. And within just a few rounds, I have no doubt he'd have started landing them. Yes, the pressure would've given Wlad some trouble for a round or two, but remember....he's nearly as tall as his brother, has a better (and stiffer) jab, and almost certainly could've dealt with it. Chris, on the other hand, granit beard or not, would've been knocked right the **** out. And if I had to pick which of the brothers beat up Arreola, I'd pick Vitali every time. It's far better for Chris this way. He may recover from a beatdown by Vitali and do something with his career (I hope). If he were stopped inside of 4 by Wlad, he'd probably either be retired, or forever a gatekeeper. And while the latter may happen anyway, he at least earned a great deal of respect in his fight against Vitali. There's no question about his beard or heart at this point, and he's won over a great many fans because of it.
Uh, hell no. EVERYONE thinks they can pressure Wlad, and Wlad has harder crisper punches than Vitali. Arreola gets knocked out in 4.

Yeah people keep saying that and yet every single person tries to pressure him and can't, and gets knocked the **** out. I think he does fine being pressured, look at his record.
And do you know why? because he holds the inside and gets away with it.
Agreed.
Wlad doesn't like pressure.

He would have a much better chance than he had against Vitali. Vitali hits harder and has a much better chin. Wlad is more mobile, but thats about it. Just remember that every time Wlad gets pinged he goes into panic mode.

Wlad has much bigger 1-punch power than Vitali, and that 1-2 combo, when he starts throwing it, is like a guided missle. Chris might make it 3 or 4 rounds, but not much more. Wlad KO's him. And the more pressure Chris puts on Wlad, the more he catches that hook, and 1-2 combo, and the faster he goes down.
Arreola would defiantly have a better chance however i just dont think he has the skills to trouble Wlad. Arreola is a decent fighter and would give Wlad a tough fight but would lose by a wide decision...
He would have had a better chance, because Wlad's chin is not as sturdy as Vitali's,I think Vitali is the best heavyweight anyway,so maybe my oppinion is biased!!
