I have become a fan of Arreola last night, the guy wears his heart on his sleeve and is straight shooter no bullshitt, the guy has given Vitali the most respect and never said anything stupid like most of the other bums Vitali and Wlad fought before. I really think he has learned his lesson and will start fighting in better shape, and if he does the dude can do a lot of damage in this division. Im a Klitschko but I think Arreola would have cause Wlad a lot of trouble if he fought him instead of Vitali last night, maybe underating Wlad a bit but thats what I think. An in shape Arreola will cause a lot of problems
That's what the f**king problem is. We are left here imagining what coulda/woulda happened. It is beyond me how these god***n beach whales can't seize the day and at least have the decency out of respect for the fans and the sport to show up in shape! Is that too freakin much to ask? I am tired of watching heavyweights who should be fighting with their shirts on. Why wouldn't u want to yourself at your best when you have so much at stake including your life. That's why that tub of lard's crocodile tears held no weight with me.Damn if not for the sport he should wanna look decent for that piece of ass wife of his. Too many yes men in these heavyweights camp and too many hypemen including HBO trying to talk these bums up! Somebody needs to speak the truth on it and stop waxing poetic about how he's going to be champion someday. I see a championship alright:Taco/hotdog eating champion of the world.
It is sickening to watch the tubbyweights disgrace the sport I love!!!
I can definitely imagine him losing again.
Maybe even look worse, because he'd be smaller if he lost all that fat.
He will have more speed, so he will be punching faster, and will not have problems cutting the ring, because the weight made him slow.
He will also be able to bob and weave, and unload faster combos on Vitali
Arreola wasn't in bad shape. He looked trimmer than I have seen him in previous fights and never gassed.
I think Klitchko was just the better man, his jab was too much for Arreola to deal with and I think what Arreola needs is more experience.
i dont think the weight thing is all his problem. my brother eats all kind of crap but hes like a skeleton, if i did that id be like a walrus and thats the problem with metabolism.
A) Arreolas a fat ****
And
B) He has no footwork!
I said this in another post but Arreolas like an even fatter version of James Tony, except Arreola doesn't have the speed or skill of Tony.
Footwork and agility, its what he needs!!!!
there was absolutely nothing wrong with his conditioning.
not a body building competition, and he needed the weight to stand up to the punches he was catching.

even if he got inshape he still needs to improve his technique.
That was a boxing lesson period. Nothing to do with weight, stamina, reatch or anything else. He knew since day one that DR.Ironfist was the bigger better man, he trained hard and did his best, but Klits was to much for him as is been for everybody else. Now he needs to sitdown and think what he really wants. He needs a new trainer, new corner move out when training away from everything and most importantkeep his f****ng head in the game, those thousands of countrymen are not the ones taking the beating one the ring, they pay for it but they are not the ones looking up for his family if something happends on the ring...
If Arreola would get his weight down to 230, he would be a real force at heavyweight.
Maybe he's learned from last night, and now he'll cut down on the beer.
I think he should drop to 220. Don't forget, he probably weighed more during fight night. I am really impressed with Arreola's heart. I think he did a great job. I thought he was going to get knocked out, he defiantly proved me wrong.
Are you kidding me? Take all the factors away and he's still a sloppy HW w/ terrible foot work no ring generalship at all. How he was undefeated up to that point is BEYOND me. He has a great chin I give him that much.
If Chris had been in shape, he'd still have been beaten up by Vitali last night. Nothing would've changed that, except for maybe 3" extra in height and about the same in reach, and at least 5 years more experience.
Weight dint mean much yesterday, it was more of styles rather than physique.
He dint look tired, so i personally don't think that coming in shape will help him a lot or what so.
Being thinner will help him move faster and defend himself easier and avoid punches instead of standing like a statue in front of his opponent, doing awkward movements and punching from different angles
Arreola is in better shape than his bodytype suggests. I'll give him that. He could still lose another 20 pounds to maybe help develop some speed. Because that's his biggest problem. He's way too slow and wide. Even his jab is horribly slow.
Two things...One, I agree with you totallyl. Like I posted, he needs to work on that offense, because his punches and jabs come in a lethargic speeds. And the 20 pounds coming off can be nothing but a plus in his career.
Two...I'm in love with your avatar. LOL.
