The man couldnt follow a simple gameplan.
There's no gameplan which will stand if you don't have a chin. The most technically perfect fight of the year was Marquez vs Mayweather but despite that, Mayweather still got hit with a hook; Marquez was hit with allot more and stood till the end.
Poon was forced to weigh in a third time, all Dunne had to do was to wait till he slowed down. His gameplan was perfect and he executed it almost perfectly. But still, you have to have a chin. You have to.
Man Poonsawat was brilliant on the inside. Dunne tried to fight on the outside, but Poonsawat eventually got in and once he landed that first left hand it was pretty much over. Because after that it turned into Dunne just trying to survive and Poonsawat had him where he wanted him. Good fighter. A fight with him and Israel Vasquez would no doubt be exciting. I hope that fight gets made.
The Irish people really love boxing and are great supporters, sad that their top young talent killed himself and they can't seem to get any real world beaters. I really hope they can get a great champion, I think the fans deserve it.
Nice post, Mr Pain. It won't let me give you any more green K.
I know this is the first I've seen of Poon, but I gotta tell ya, I think he can beat Vazquez.
The guy is extremely strong.
I hear you, Jack. Look at that left hook he drops Dunne with on the first knockdown. It is so effortless.
I know Dunne hasn't got the greatest chin in the world...but still

But, what the hell was wrong w/ those announcers? They kept pretending that he was falling down on his own. I saw every punch that caused each k.d on a youtube clip and they made it seem like he was falling by accident.
They are clueless really. One of them covers other sports and is brought in every time there is big fight here. He prob gets briefed on who the opponent is and some other info, I doubt he follows the sport. The co-presenter is a former boxer, so I don't know what he was on about 'punches not landing' and stuff.
They are almost as bad as Billy Dib's commentary support in Australia.
But saying that, a lot of people find them fun to listen to, especially people that are outside Ireland.
I like Poonsawat. He's very respectful and seems like a good guy. Very good fighter.
I as much went to the arena to see him as I did Dunne from what I had saw and heard of him, and that he was rated number 3 by The Ring.
He worked very hard, took a long flight to Ireland six days before the fight and pulled out a great knockout in three rounds. What more can you ask for.
Poonswat is a world class operator.
First time I've seen him, but he he certainly looks the business. Very fast, much faster than Dunne, and power to go with it.
